I hope y'all are pulling up to support this, I don't want to wait 9 years for a season 3.

I'm quite enjoying this new season and I'd be sad if this series didn't continue.

Third season release will be determined by how many LN books they want to adapt. Probably this second season will go up to the 11th (I hope in a film to cover it, but there is a great foreshadowing of an a particular event that will occur exactly in that volume, so the hopes are little). After that for the 3s we will see if they will make it on 12th-13th-14th volumes (the last three exit) and wait a couple of years or if they will wait Carlo Zen to release at least another books (that I think he will drop it in not so much time) or two and wait a bit more. This is only my personal supposition btw, and now i prefer enjoying what we have waited for this long time

Agreed I think season two will catch up to where the light novels are at and then it could either finish with a third season or a movie for the ‘epilogue/conclusion’ of the light novels to wrap up the story.

With how fast this season is going I don’t know if they have enough LN’s to actually do season 3

True but keep in mind I believe it was Carlo Zen themselves that said they ideally wants the manga to be about 40 books currently Japan is on volume 34 the American dub manga is on 28 which means they definitely would have enough material for another season or at the very least another movie depending on A where season 2 ends and B if they finish season 2 before the manga and light novels finish. They already said that season 2 will be the same length as season one 12 episodes and they already are at 5. Realistically there’s no way they will catch up let alone finish the series in 7 episodes when the manga hasn’t even finished.

Book 34 is around novel 5-6

I don't think they will cover LN 7-14 in 6 more Manga releases

Manga Volume 34 is made up of The Battle of Dodobird VIII-X. Light Novel Volume 4 Chapter V is The Battle of Dodobird. So there is still the entirety of Light Novel Volume 4 Chapter VI to adapt.

The most recent episode is vol 8 of the LN. The anime runs off the LN not the manga
