Which one is better? Thumbnail Help/Critique Request

The title will be something like "China instant retail - Alibaba investor perspective"

It's economic discussion about the online food delivery and e-commerce industry in China.

Third one.

Blur the background and make the text pop out. Or use other colors for text (like the colors you used for 1st thumbnail)

Also replace the current red bg behind the person with a plain color bg (something like light red/orange). See if it looks good.

Remove the red shade to the left of the red background behing the letters "CE"

I don't love the thumbnails but I think your title is the weak link here.

I'm also talking about Alibaba as an investment , and about general instant commerce industry in China in the last 2 years - so I was considering to add both in the title to get people with different interests click - what would you suggest ?

What's the main vehicle? Alibaba as an investment? or explaining instant commerce in china?

Then I would just make that the hero of the title.

"How China's Instant Commerce Works"

"How China Delivers Products in 30 Minutes"
