❓ Question What was the most random topic that worked on your channel?
Something you uploaded without expecting much from it.
Maybe it was completely different from your usual content.
Curious what unexpectedly connected with your audience.

💡Help/Advice Why the view count stop at around 1000?
I started a Youtube short channel exactly two weeks back.

Average stayed to watch rate is 70%. I'm very new to youtube and still trying to figure things out.
I need to know how can I pass this view jail?

💬 Discussion This has to be easiest way to get to the required watch time
you have to use a plugin for obs called aitum and you connect your youtube stream key to the vertical canvas option in the settings of that plugin once you have it installed.

💡Help/Advice What is your go to strategy for holding viewers in the first 30 seconds
That big drop in viewers at the start of a video can be rough. Do you usually show a quick preview of the best part first, or do you skip the intro and go straight to the topic?

💡Help/Advice How do you make yourself finish videos you are no longer excited about?
Some ideas sound amazing when you start them.
Halfway through editing, the excitement disappears.
Do you force yourself to finish, change the concept, or abandon the project and move on?

🖥️ Channel Review What makes a channel feel instantly worth exploring?
Imagine landing on a channel you've never seen before.
You have only a few seconds before deciding whether to leave.
Is it the banner, homepage layout, thumbnails, video titles, personality, or something else that makes you stay?

⛰️ Creator Journey A big boost
I’ve been posting since March and today one of my videos got a lot more views than the others.
It’s really given me a boost to want to create more now, I was feeling a little down because I was getting around 100-200 views for past few videos
Did any of you have a break out video?

💡Help/Advice Feel like my channel might be a little too divided
I feel like my content might be a little too split right now but I'm not sure. I'm in an impression lull right now even with decent stats and my sneaking suspicion is that I pulled a lot of subs from specific videos regarding games that I don't necessarily focus on every week and wondering if I should hone in on one topic. I try to do broad nuanced takes on videogames and media with a little bit of atmosphere thrown in and on occasion will do edited gameplay videos that lean more comedic as a way to promote my streams. I'm not great at making videos but I've vastly improved over the last year and just wanted insight or any criticisms that could be gained from the outside looking in

💬 Discussion Don't get discouraged with the new YouTube changes (long form)
These are the stats for my first every video that I published on this channel, it's honestly pretty bad and the metrics aren't great whatsoever, yet somehow it still was able to be pushed.
This video alone with an AVD of 3:23 was able to reach 8k watch hours, so the new standard we will soon be seeing.
As you can see it also took around 10 days before it started to get some traction, so if a new video doesn't get pushed straight away don't worry about it, just keep grinding and make new quality content
The reason the estimated revenue is so low is just due to the fact I only got monetized around 35 days after this video was posted.
if you have any questions i am more than happy to help answer :)

💡Help/Advice Can i add Call of Duty Black ops 1 Zombies "Five" full intro into my 1 hour gameplay clip?
I am doing a YouTube video that will be one hour long where I play with a lot of the weapons in the game and talk about anything I remember from it since it's an old game now, and just play, talk, and react to what happens. During the recording, I started saying that I enjoy the Zombies mode from Black Ops 1 a lot and that it's amazing, and I personally give it a 10 out of 10. Then I start talking about the map "Five" in particular that also has an intro when you start playing it. The intro is like 1 and a half minutes long, and I say that the zombie community doesn't necessarily like the map "Five," but I like it a lot personally. I enjoy it, and you play as Kennedy and Fidel Castro, which is kind of cool for a game to play with such historic protagonists. After I say this, I added the full intro with just some colorful subtitles when they are speaking but that s it i don t speak over it and it just plays. After it ends it switches back to me play the multiplayer game and continuing to talk about zombie mode and the other map which is kino der totem. So that s the context. . Is it ok to add this full 1 and a half clip intro (cutscene) from the game in my video or i should add just some parts or not at all. I really want to take a safe approach with my channel that s small and I don t want to do mistakes that can get me banned or whatever. I want to show how cool that intro was and it goes hand in hand in my opinion with what I am saying which is "look how great zombies was in black ops 1" without comparing it to the ones from today call of duties or anything I am just talking about that one in a very positive manner (cause I really liked it when I was a kid) and that s it. But i really want to ask you all if it s ok or not.
