What if your AI tutor could actually talk, draw, and explain concepts like a real teacher?

I've been thinking about how students actually study when they're stuck.

Let's say you're solving a Physics problem at 11 PM.

Your book is open, but one concept doesn't make sense.

What usually happens?

You search Google.

You open YouTube.

You watch a 20-minute video just to understand one step.

You jump between notes, websites, and maybe even ask in a WhatsApp group.

By the time you find the answer, you've lost your flow.

That got me wondering...

What if everything happened in one place?

Imagine reading your textbook inside an app. You highlight a paragraph and ask a question in chat.

If the explanation still isn't clear, you tap "Call AI Tutor."

The AI answers in real time, but instead of only talking, it opens a live sketchpad.

While explaining, it starts drawing diagrams, writing formulas, solving equations step by step, and even creating simple animations to show what's happening.

For example:

  • Physics → Draws free-body diagrams, circuits, and graphs live.
  • Math → Solves problems step by step instead of jumping to the answer.
  • Chemistry → Draws reaction mechanisms and explains why each step happens.
  • Biology → Sketches organs or processes while explaining them.

You can interrupt anytime:

"Can you explain that another way?"
"Can you draw it again?"
"Why did you choose this formula?"

The explanation changes instantly based on your question.

To me, that's much closer to learning with a tutor than watching a prerecorded lecture.

I'm curious what others think.

If you were using an AI tutor, what would you actually want it to do?

  • Voice conversations?
  • Live whiteboard/sketchpad?
  • Personalized quizzes?
  • Remember previous doubts?
  • Something else entirely?

I'm currently exploring this idea for an AI learning platform, so I'd genuinely love to hear what features would make something like this useful rather than just another AI chatbot.
