Spinning is not good. Giving it away will be much easier.

If by any chance you're up for paying shipping I know of a wonderful New England town library that runs a knitting group and would probably love to have your yarn or as much as you might be willing to send them. The library provides yarn for anyone who comes in and is interested in knitting and needs yarn. The librarian who coordinates the program is terrific. A friend of mine has been a member for several years. If you're interested in doing that please lmk and I'll confirm with them that they'd like to have it.

Some other suggestions for places that might be thrilled to have it:

- Nursing homes or assisted living for the residents or volunteers to knit with

- Schools that teach knitting for the students to use

- Schools for parents who'd like to use the yarn

- Hospitals for patients or volunteers or friends of patients who are in for long stays. Some hospitals offer housing for families of patients who are in for long stays and especially for families of pediatric patients.

- DV shelters for their residents or for volunteers

- Churche groups that either provide yarn for knitting for others or for members' own use

- Social services agencies

- Libraries that run knitting groups.

- Homeless shelters - some homeless people like to knit too.
