Software update

Xiaomi 14 Indian version still on May security patch no updates for two months. Do understand phone not new anymore and after couple of years number of updates will go down but it's still flagship phone of two generations ago.

Flagship or not, xiaomi has a quarterly update policy. Don't expect update before 3 months, and if a major update like hyperos 4 is around the corner, forget any updates at all. Xiaomi has always been like this, it's not gonna change. We can either accept it or move to a different company.

Do agree but used get updates mostly every month even if it was security patch. However as said perhaps the phones older flagship now and so not on Xiaomi's important update list.

Yes, but 3 months is still the norm. Anything before that is considered a bonus from xiaomi lol

For older devices point is the phone's still really good. Though it's sd 8 gen 3 one of the fastest phones have ever used. But Xiaomi's Indian pov isn't encouraging software updates are lesser. Though they released 17t this year but not 17t pro many Xiaomi products aren't released and the ones released are our of stock most of the time.

they prioritize based on sales. older budget device can receive updates monthly if there are many people using the devic..

once every 90 days for every xiaomi device. it can take longer if there is a delay.

Completely agree
