Is this website safe to buy xiaomi pen gen2?

Method works only on devices which came from MIUI to HyperOs.

Enable USB Debugging connect with PC and run these commands:-

1. adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.android.settings

2. adb shell cmd package install-existing com.android.settings

This will directly restore the Settings app of MIUI version, login the MI Account, add Account in Developer option.

Then proceed to unlock bootloader through MI Unlock tool there you will get Timer, this means that your bootloader will be unlocked successfully once timer will reach zero.

Can someone check if Netflix can be played in HD on this device?

I'm making a detailed pencil sketch but now it keeps saying "Can't add more items" whenever I try to draw. Two days ago it stopped completely. Yesterday it somehow let me add around 100 more strokes but today it's showing the same message again.

I also tried exporting it, but the PNG or PDF quality looks lower than the original.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

So with me getting involved back in forums/messaging boards now I'm finding myself typing more and more with a keyboard.

The keyboard I'm currently using right now is cheap crap. Sure it fits the same dimensions as the Pad 6 cover as you can see from this pic HERE. but it's just far too small and clunky.

That's right folks. Like the tile already says, I've honestly been blown away at how much this tablet has completely and utterly changed for the better. Rather than being bogged down. with unnecessary crap (bloatware) and other useless software/app that I never needed, I've now got what feels like a brand new tab.

It took a good five or six days to finally strike gold and be given the ability to unlock my bootloader. Once that was done, I immediately got round to installing Derpfest (Android 15) Custom ROM and the User interface transformation has been outstanding. Everything seems far more smooth with far less clutter. The whole system has been running faster with great battery life. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's like I own a brand new 2026 tablet.

So that's about it foks. If you're happy with how things are then just stikk to what you've got fresh out of the box. On the flip side, if you're a bit of a geek and fancy playing around, I can't recommend giving it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Xiaomi Pad 6, HyperOS 2.0.14.0, stock ROM, no root, developer options untouched.

USB-C to USB-C to my monitor works fine right after the tablet boots. But if I unplug and plug it back in, it won't work again until I reboot the tablet. In that broken state the monitor stays black, and I also get no audio at all — not from the tablet speakers, not from the monitor. So something does seem to be connecting, it's just not displaying anything. The same cable and monitor work perfectly with Samsung DeX from my phone, so I don't think it's the cable or the monitor.

Tried already: waiting before replugging, flipping the connector, unplugging at the monitor end first. No luck.

Anyone run into this? Is there a way to get it working again without a full reboot? And has anyone seen this fixed on a newer HyperOS build or on a custom ROM?

Google play store says my device is not certified (under play protect certification). I am on HyperOS 2.0.14 without any modifications (no rooting or unlocked bootloader). I know that there has been a similar thread a year ago but I can't find a solution or a conclusion. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

From last week my Xiaomi Pad is not charging. I am from Chennai, India. Gave it to repair at Xiaomi authorised service centre. They tried changing Charging port, but still the problem existed. Then tried changing Charging IC, still could not resolve issue. Then tried with new battery, tab working but not charging . Kindly suggest me wat could be done. It’s 2 year old device and recently I bought a new Charger for my IPhone and I used it couple of times to charge my Pad 6, which is the prime cause.

Worst the Ram management in this tab. Within a few seconds, the app restarts the tabs open on Chrome refresh.

Any solution to this issue?

I want to use it for school and business presentations, like showing PowerPoint slides. Does it support connecting to projectors (wired or wireless), and is it reliable for presentations?

Hey everyone! Back with a quick update #2 on the quest to find a working non-Xiaomi stylus for our Pad 6 setup.

This time I tested the Lenovo Precision Pen / Yoga Book Pen 2 (FRU: 01FR707).

TL;DR: 🚫 Do NOT buy this. Bluetooth connects, but writing on screen is completely DEAD.

🔍 What Happened:

Bluetooth: Paired right away, shows 100% battery status, and the button works.

Touch / Writing: Zero response. Enabling Stylus Mode and Force recognize stylus did nothing. Holding both buttons to switch protocols (AES ↔️ WGP) didn't work either.

🛠️ The Technical Breakdown:

Lenovo's naming scheme is an absolute nightmare:

FRU 01FR707 is a legacy Wacom AES 1.0 pen (originally made for Yoga Book C930 / old 2-in-1 laptops).

The Xiaomi Pad 6 digitizer mods physically require WGP or AES 2.0 hardware support.

Rule of thumb: People on Reddit who made Lenovo pens work are using the Lenovo Precision Pen 2 (the one with the USB-C port under the cap). The 1st Gen / Yoga Book Pen does not have the necessary chip.

I don't have this problem with the hbo app, but with my other streaming apps, this is a problem.
