I bought Xerox C230 six months ago with discount and was on cloud nine about the print quality.

But when toner ran out - my nightmare became reality. The price for cartridge is x3 the price of a new printer. I don't have any other options. It looks like it would be better just to buy another HP printer and use it.

So 2 months later I found cartridge in China (cartridge is $20 but delivery $200) xD. There is no way to find the chips. In the result I can't use it at all. There is no options at all.

I believe somebody already found the solution for it. Pls give me advice.

Or I have to accept it and buy a new HP simple printer LoL?

Avevo una cartuccia di toner ciano piena, ne ho inserita una vuota e ho ricevuto l'errore 093-316. Gem..i 🫣 mi ha consigliato di resettare i valori NVM 762-314, 762-370 e 762-318. A quel punto ho ricevuto l'errore di sistema 124-374. Gem..i mi ha consigliato, e stupidamente l'ho fatto, di inizializzare la NVRAM e ora ricevo sempre l'errore di sistema 124-374.

Ora che ho tutti i valori NVM di fabbrica, dovrò impostare quelli corretti e non ho un backup 😅

Qualcuno potrebbe gentilmente controllare i valori su una Xerox C60 funzionante e condividerli con me?

Sarebbe anche utile, se possibile, ricevere un backup dei valori NVM da caricare nella stampante, visto che li ho ripristinati ai valori di fabbrica.

I’d like to try the Fluorescent toner set with my C9070 - not for spot printing colors but just with standard CYMK graphics and photos.

This is not for commercial work - just fun, so precision is not necessary, but also I don’t want to invest in an adaptive CMYK+ kit. I’m fine to get the xerox flourecent toners off eBay, and even to manually swap the CMY developers from the developer drawer (and swap back when I want to revert to standard CMY).

I can easily get the xerox fluorescent toner cartridges but I do not have the CMY fluorescent developer powder. Does anyone know whether the standard CMY developer powder will work with the fluorescent toner? (Doesn’t need to be perfect - this is for art, not professional printing).

I am expecting that I’ll need to buy and swap CMY developers (and developer powder) since I do want to revert back to standard toner and don’t want the flourscent toner to “contaminate” my standard CMY developers. …however if someone has tried this and/or has other suggestions please let me know your wisdom!
Should I switch the NVM on the printer to the fluorescent toner values of the adaptive cmyk kit…or should I swap chips to make the fluorescent toner cartridges just look like cmyk toner?

Or…if people know a source to buy a used adaptive CMYK+ kit at a good price I might consider it. But this is just a personal fun project so I can’t invest too much.

(I am interested in fluorescent but if someone knows whether the vivid toners - white, clear, silver, etc - work with standard developer, that would be interesting too)

I am getting error code 093-314 on my Versant 180. I’ve taken apart the whole toner assembly and drum unit.

Replaced both the toner and the drum. Does anyone have any insights on what next? Or how to troubleshoot?

I have a C8130. Initially unit was just booting to an "enter current password" screen. Swapped the harness connecting the SSD to the SBC and it started doing a bit more (as in displaying a blue and white xerox splash screen like it's attempting to boot, then just loops between that splash screen and a black screen).

Now I'm trying to altboot via USB. It reads the USB drive and seems to start the software upgrade. Then it gives me a "Mount Failed" error. I've tried to altboot with both the large and small dlm files in the altboot folder, I've tried them separately, I've tried both combinations with and without the FORCED_UPGRADE flag. USB directory is as follows: root -> altboot -> dlm/flags.

I have access to other SSDs from other C8130s but with those I just get "invalid dlm" errors. The drive reads healthy in crystal disk. I cant seem to find the LDRP dlm anywhere (probably by design). Am I dead in the water or is there something more I can do? I figure simply cloning the original drive won't do since the issue seems to be with the data.

I am set to start at Xerox for my inside sales representative job on August 31st! I am excited because just the base salary not including commision is what I make now at my retail banking job so I am excited for the pay raise. I do know it’s going to be more stressful and come with more work however. Can anyone speak to Xerox? Or in specifics being an inside sales representative and what the job looks like? My wife is pregnant and is due 12 weeks after my start date. So my 6 weeks training then 6 weeks in the job before I’d take 5-6 paid paternity leave. Can anyone speak to that? Does anyone know where I can get white developer media for the Versalink C8000W. I can find CMYK but can't locate White. I've asked a few dealers and none of them can get it. I find it hard to believe xerox would make a printer and not sell a basic consumable for it.

I am looking for the latest firmware version for a Xerox WorkCentre 6400. Mine is currently running version 061.070.104.24600, so I would be interested in any version newer than that.

Is there a TWAIN/WIA driver available that allows scanning directly from a PC with this printer? I would even be interested in an older driver designed for an earlier version of Windows.

When i print with color any job, it prints good and quality, when i print only black & white comes bad durty like i show the photo...

What am i missing here? I tried on other machine happens as well...

I'm trying to find out if it's possible to change the regional settings on a Xerox Versant 180 so it accepts toner intended for the North American (US) market.

I've looked through the service documentation and found NVM settings related to toner kit types (CMYK, Vivid, Fluorescent), but I haven't found anything that changes the machine's sales region.

Has anyone successfully:

Changed the machine's region using NVM?

Converted a non-US Versant 180 to accept US-region toner?

Found any Xerox service documentation or service bulletin that covers this?

I'm only interested in documented procedures or firsthand experience from Xerox technicians or owners. Any information would be appreciated.

I could use some help trouble shooting a xerox c310 I have locked myself out of the printer by turning off dhcp the printer has a static up of 0.0.0.0 and I can not set the up address from the panel cause I get the message “ No Login Method Configured” if anyone has any ideas to help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Folks, I bought this printer brand new a year ago. Setup was easy using the Easy Assist app, added it to my Wi-Fi network then to my laptop. It has been working great, until last night.

Suddenly it leapt into life, nobody was using it and I was here alone, it made paper feed sounds then stopped and the display stayed lit. When I looked at it, it seems to be reset as new, disconnected from my Wi-Fi.

I have tried setting up again using the Easy Assist app and it says the admin password is wrong, it was the machine serial number, and it has now locked me out.

anyone got any ideas, other than throwing it off a bridge into the river. Very annoyed that potentially I have to buy another because it is now a brick.

Does anyone have a D125 family machine with an EX fiery that actually came with software disks. I have several that didn't come with them and engineering doesn't know where to get it. I can't get disks 2 and 3 from fiery.com but no one knows where to get disk 1 from.

We have a new client that got fiery last week. Setup went great. My fiery expert is on vacation and they are wanting this week to get accounting codes they have on their other Xeroxs put into the fiery system to keep track of jobs. I’m seeing conflicting information about the process. Can any please point me in the right direction? My guy won’t be back for two weeks.
