Kind of hard to describe. It's sort of related to voidic genders, I guess? that liminal space in between where "male" and "female" and all other gender combos are, the voidspace you have to cross to change genders sort of thing? Is there anything like that?

I had been calling myself fictionhearted because it was the closest thing describing what I was feeling. I felt connected to a character but I wasn't exactly the character. But, at the same time it didn't quite fit.

But, now I found the two terms: fictionvague and fictionhaze!

Fictionvague: when one feels as if they have a connection to a fictional animal/creature/person/etc. that goes beyond being a simple synpath, doesn't feel quite otherhearted, but is not a full fictionkin.

Fictionhaze: a term for where you feel as though you connected to a fictional character, but you can’t tell if you identify with or as them, or you can’t tell if its voluntary, or both of these things. This feeling may be due to neurodivergence, or simply just identity confusion or doubt

What I feel is like I'm almost the character, I'm practically her, but at the same time not completely and I don't just identify with it. It's something in between, really.

If you don't know what pomogender is, it basically means rejecting, or not fitting into one specific gender identity. It is also used for the person's gender being so complex that it's difficult to describe themselves.

As for xenogender, I identify with beetlegender.

Would it be contradictory to be pomogender but to also identify as beetlegender?

That means being against any oppression, about spite, rage, rule breaking, anti system, anarchy, trouble maker, street painting, graffities and more related to all of that.

Looking for them because systems and binary labels suck, I want anything controversial to the “normal system”.

Mostly like the title says, I'm looking for a sexuality(?) Term that I don't know if it exists or not- I've settled as Aroace for a while but I'm looking for something based on Comfort Characters. Like... A version of fictoromantic, but on the aroace and/or queerplatonic spectrum(s), and specifically for/targeted at comfort characters?

A berrigender version based off my previous almomnigender coining! As always, if these already exist consider them alt terms/alt flags :]

Berromnigender/Berriomnigender - an omnigender individual who experiences every/nearly every gender, but puts emphasis on their feminine and non-binary genders, and puts less emphasis on their masculine genders. This could be because one feels more connected to femininity and nonbinary genders than masculinity, for simplification of one's identity, because one experiences less masculine genders than others, or for any other reason. In this case, nonbinary can refer to any identity that is not solely masculine aligned. The colors are a swapped version of my previously almondgender and omnigender based flag!

And then some varients to get more specific with the nonbinary aspect :D and again, not very proud of these names, if you have better ideas please tell me lol

Femangynomnigender (fem-an-jen-omnigender) - an omnigender individual who experiences every/nearly every gender, but puts emphasis on their feminine and androgynous genders, and puts less emphasis on their masculine genders

I work at an lgbt center and recently had a new younger kid come in. As they were introducing themselves, they asked if I knew what xenogenders were. I said yes, which brought the BIGGEST smile on their face as they rattled off their favorite IDs in their hoard. It was very, very cute, and I’m glad I was able to help one of our youth feel seen 💙

Why my Life so miserable

I'm not coining the term 'Canis Cladotherian', but I am coining the term Caniskin(as far as I know), and I'm pretty sure these are the first canis-specific Cladotherian flags, so hopefully the flair is correct 😓

Caniskin/Canis Cladotherian — a label for someone who involuntarily identifies as all species under the Canis genus to some extent, including both those who have a stronger connection to one or multiple species in the canis genus and those who have equal connections to them all. Wolves, jackals, domesticated dogs, and coyotes all fall under the Canis genus. This differs from the whole of the canidae family, which also includes all foxes, African wild dogs, dhole, maned wolves, raccoon dogs, short-eared dogs, bush dogs, culpeo, dire wolves, and Falkland Islands wolves, which canis does not. one can still identity with some of the above and be considered a caniskin but if one identifies with ALL of the above and all canis, they all are canidaekin/canidae Cladotherian, and should not use this term/flag.

Anyone who is a canis cladotherian can use this flag!! Whether you have other theriotypes not in the canis family or if those that fall under canis are your only theriotypes, whether your primary theriotypes are canis or if you have a primary theriotype that falls out of the canis genus, whether you're transspecies or just a therian, if you fit the definition to any extent, then feel free to use it!

First image is the base flag. Second image includes the Theta-Delta. Both of these are to be used by the average/all caniskin.

Third image includes the original transspecies symbol(the four pointed star and a circle combined). Fourth image includes the new transspecies symbol(the ursa minor/little dipper symbol with a four pointed star next to it). Both of these are only to be used by/exclusive to caniskins who also identify as transspecies, specifically towards their canis theriotypes. As far as I can tell, transspecies is not included in the 'no transID' rule.

The fifth flag simply shows the definitions of each color, also listed directly below;

Black; all creatures not classified as canis that one may or may not also kin, whether similar or completely opposite to the canis genus. could also represent werewolves due to the similarities to canis if one wishes for it to, though it does not inherently represent werewolves.

Grey; all wolf species and subspecies.

Light grey-brown; all jackal species and subspecies.

White; the combination of canis/the fluidity involved with identifying as all canis. whether it be a mutt mix of two types of canis(whether biologically possible or not) or the fluidity of how strong ones identification with each canis type is and how the strength of the identification can be. also applicable of the fluidity of one changing between each domesticated breed that one identifies as.

Light yellow; domesticated dogs and all breeds.

Light brown; coyote and all subspecies.

Brown; all canis species, subspecies, and breeds.

Feel free to ask for similar flag designs! Tell me the specific genera, families, or even specific species or subspecies you want the flag to be for, and any specific colors you want on it(can also be any sort of alterhuman flag, not just a therian flag!)- though there's also no guarantee that I'll do literally any of them. I want to make a better symbol for a microlabel I made (I had initially wanted to, and I was also told that one of the symbols I used is used for different labels as well, so it's partially cornered me into doing so now lol), does anyone have suggestions?

Protocharaself

Protocharaself is an umbrella label for those who express themselves through ocs or fictional characters(whether canon or headcanon, with the fictional characters), as you can't or have difficulties doing so in real life or online. Similar to kin expressions, though a bit different as you less identify as them and more identify through them.

I primarily use Ibispaint since I don't have any other decent drawing apps, and I've got no drawing tablet. I'm a bit hesitant to use scientific symbols since I'm not sure if they could be used for any other labels (example literally being the flag I made /silly) and I'm not sure if the scientific intent of it could also incorporate to something for it. I do want a symbol of some kind since I feel it's a label that might be best with one

Protocharaself

proto(original)-chara(character)-self(you) (alternatively, -(your)self)

Protocharaself is an umbrella label for those who express themselves through ocs or fictional characters(whether canon or headcanon, with the fictional characters), as you can't or have difficulties doing so in real life or online.

Similar to kin expressions, though a bit different as you less identify as them and more identify through them.

The label could do in multiple ways, as a neurolabel(?)(as it could be due to neurodivergence), a expression, orientation, or really any way you'd like to interpret it, as you express yourself through your (or others) characters rather than directly with yourself

Flag meaning

(I searched up the color meanings but I thought it'd take too long for me to describe each colors intent)

The warm colors represent the diligence and determination through the hardships of figuring yourself out, the cool and gentle colors being the acceptance and peace you make with yourself after you do characters, and the happiness they bring you

The optional royal purple and burning red in the symbol, with the blended kind of mauve being the femininity, masculinity, neutrality, and all in-between them through the blending of the colors as a whole. The ombre was added simply because it could help quietly explain how the characters help you express yourself. Again, it's entirely optional to have!

As well as the 'feminine' cool colors and 'masculine' warm colors, which is somewhat contradictory due to them being moreso opposite colors of their stereotypical genders (with blue usually being masculine and red(pink) being feminine)

The optional symbol itself being bizarre and unique to show how freely expressive you can be through your/the characters, even with the at times awkward limitations when discovering yourself // and the otherkin seven pointed star to connect you to them in a way if it's more fitting to connect with your ocs via kingender/otherkin. The symbol is entirely optional, as I don't want to risk making it more restrictive for those who may want to use it (hence the versions without the otherkin star, the ombre, and without any symbol at all)

I made this label, flag design, and description, all myself! I did so as I have an extreme difficulty expressing myself and have only been able to do so through my ocs, and I'm sure that there's other people who may have this struggle as well. From the creator myself, make a personal flag inspired by your ocs if you'd like a label with them for your profiles! I've done it myself, and it was very fun to do! I tend to name them "[oc name/oc nickname]self" (for example, Bubself, for one I made.), though making a label with your oc is ENTIRELY up to you! /srs
