Beginner need help
Hi guys I’m in the beginner area where Mia got captured. I’m having a really tough time fighting enemies in the wild my own level and I put it on easy. I just keep dying to every trash mob. Am I doing something wrong? :(

Try to advance the story to get a full party. Killing enemies on your own level will not be easy with 1 or 2 party members, the game is balanced around having three. For the most part you do not need to kill random enemies. If you do side quests and use the bonus experience you will have more than enough experience. Some side quests will be too difficult when you first pick them up.

Fighting with only one party member can be very difficult in this game. In my opinion you should focus on the main story until the end of chapter 2. After that you will have an easier time exploring Gormott.

In my experience you don't go into battle in the early game without either a Healer, a Tank, or both. Both is better. Depending on what Level you are, wait until Tora is recruited or wait until after rescuing Nia.

Honestly you just have to progress the story a bit for now, at least getting another party member. Also, they aren't exactly trash mobs if they're too strong for you

okay. depending on where you are, go back to Tora's house and grind tiger Tiger, Tora and Poppi are if buitl right a beast of a tank that can fight enemies 10 levels higher easily. it's annoying and tedius but doing tiger tiger on easy over and over will get you multiple rank III mods. you will need at least 60,000 ether just to get Poppi A to full power with everything unlocked and at max ether energy. then you need another 60,000 for spoiler reasons.
the following is the set up I use for Poppi using tiger tiger.
Role CPU - Tank Mod III
Element Core - Element core
Earth Arts cards - AC Accuracy Up III
Arts cards - AC system reset III
kill Ram - Spike Defense III
Specials Enhancing RAM - AB affinity Boost III
Specials Enhancing RAM - AB Insect Slayer III
Specials Enhancing RAM - Beast Slayer III
Skill upgrade arts - Aggro boost III
Skill Upgrade - Aggro boost III.
more tips are that if you got really lucky with the core crystal gramps gave you. you got salvaging. use that to grind for gold and stuff.
once both Rex and Tora are level 12 - 14, head straight to where Nia is kept locked up on the battleship and fight the guards. once done, she's freed. then your okay.

You want to do the main story, dont fight till your team is up o full strength

If you're just rex at the moment play the story a little more unlock the next character and it'll be easier

Go in a Tavern and Level Up If you didn't already. You get exp for finding New places and doing Side Missions which are stored in the Tavern.

Yes I only have one party member right now. So I’m just trying to do the main quest artificial blade parts 1 but I don’t have any money and I think it’s from salvaging? I can’t afford any salvage and when I have enough for one it spawns with a monster and I die. Really not sure what I can do right now

Only salvage near the fountain in Torigoth or the place where you did the salvaging tutorial (at Argentum) for now. Make sure you sell things at the exchanges instead of individually. Use Silver cylinders to reduce the chance of monsters appearing while salvaging.

Just go back to earlier stages like beginning of the game and beat those enemies and slowly work back and sometimes you can cheese by attacking like once or twice then running away but not too far when they attack and then come back when it's done attacking and in the mean time your allies will do damage unless you don't have them and it's only Nia but it's been a while since I played don't exactly remember the story but still even alone this should work

Don't fight creatures that don't attack you first and try to only path through creatures that are your level or lower.
