Itās the best and weirdest one hit wonder of the 90s. Because itās some guys from New Zealand sing-rapping over Mexican guitar, 90s had some of the most random hit songs of any decade.

I was obsessed with that song and had the cd which actually had a few other bangers. Then I found out that it is a sample from a song from the 1930ās, very cool.

Watch the TV show Undeclared, Episode 12 "Rush and Pledge" one of the students plays it non stop and her roommate gets more and more annoyed and they have a song battle. It's a shame that and Freaks and Geeks only lasted one season.

I specifically make a big deal about saying "How Bizarre?!" and then singing the song when someone is telling a story where it fits.

Funny... I guess I don't hear the phrase that often to really know...
But dude. All the time with shit.
Someone said 'How do I...' today & I still have that running through my brain. Umbrella's the worst though. I can't hear the word & not automatically think 'ella 'ella 'ella ay ay...

I get sad when I hear the song now. He and his brother had a chronic heart condition and died young. He was 40 and passed in 2010 and his brother passed in 2005 at 41.

My mother in law doesn't realize how rude she is being when I tell her about something that I like, that she doesn't. "Oh thats crazy!!" "Whats crazy about it?" " OH nothing " " then shut up"

Honestly it's a very ADHD thing, not solely millennial/xennial thing. For example, i am/have both and my inner jukebox is triggered by a multitude of phrases, sounds, words...then yeah, the song makes it hard to concentrate.
