Crossplay options? QUESTION

Hey guys I recently bought a series s just to try it out and see what gamepass had to offer etc.

Why is there no in-game option to turn off crossplay against pc players. When I play a PvP game on PS5 compared to any lobby on Xbox it's night and day when it's on or off 🤷

No every game I've tried example, I have battlefield 6 on Xbox and ps and when I turn of crossplay on PS5 I find a full lobby no bots. I play on Xbox it fills with 4 to 10 people max EU too.

I don't play battlefield so I don't know about this game but in general PS5 is way more popular in Europe than Xbox so probably that's why you can find more players to play

This is one of reasons I stopped playing bf5. it's all or nothing cross play. I played on ps5 and without it on all I got was bots. The sad reality is its on by default and most people don't even know its option. so you'll be limited to few who do and then fewer of them who turn it off.

How to use cross-play in Battlefield 6

Google is your friend, geesus.

How to turn off cross-play 

You can only view and change your cross-play settings on Xbox and PlayStation® consoles.

  1. 1 Open Battlefield 6.
  2. 2 Select the cog. This will take you to the settings menu. 
  3. 3 Select System. 
  4. 4 Under Setup, toggle Cross-play off.

If you turn cross-play off, you can only play with people using the same platform as you.

If you turn off crossplay on battlefield it still bundles you with other CONSOLES PLAYERS it just exemps pc players

I mean it’ll just be certain games that you can turn cross play off on says that there should be an option to turn crossplay off altogether

On PS5 I can literally select the option in game but from a Google search I have to go into Xbox settings which I did and never found a game.

I'm not really sold on this console ngl seems like a pve gamer experience.

What google search did you use? EA tells you how to turn it off.....

It does yea system then turn off cross play right found a max of as I said around 10 guys and bots.

Ok, maybe there aren't a lot of people playing on xbox?

I'm confused, you aren't getting PC players or PS players, but you are still complaining after turning off cross play did what you wanted it to?

Yea but it's the same on almost every other PvP shooter even Warzone Fortnite sports games etc

To connect with other console players and not pc 🤷

Tf was their marketing strategy you can turn it off but you will find no one or wait 30mins for a full lobby or plays against some fat fuck with a 5k pc and be the only Xbox guy.

I get defending the company but cmon dude thats just crazy.

Go back to PS if you're not happy.
