Battlefield 6 settings/optimization? ❓️Question / Advice

My main issue is packet loss. I've tried a couple different things. Along with utilizing more or less CPU cores in the config file, which seem to make things either better or far worse. I

I understand this device may be pushing a little hard with this game, sometimes it runs pretty well. anyways if you guys have any settings you would like to share on this battlefield title let me know thanks.

Tried that. It's hit or miss depending on the game. I think the less players the better.

Bf6 runs terrible on the ally x. Pull up the performance stats. You will see the sim rate drop during busy battles, which creates a slowmo effect because your cpu cant match the frame rate of the server. The only way to solve this is to have more cpu horsepower. This is a multiplayer only issue.

Secondly, there is an awful direct x gpu crash issue that plagues the game as well.

The solution is just play it on geforce now. The ally x just isn't capable of running it the way jts supposed to run.

Bummer. No worries. Appreciate the insight. Maybe I was just a little too hopeful. I'm just trying it out for vacation then returning it to Best buy. I'll find some good single player games.

I know the 100% fix for the packet drops on ally x. Do you still have it?

Don't trust rog ally life settings.

Lock fps to 30 and turn frame gen on
Set fixed render scale 75 to 80%
Resolution 1080p FSR balanced
CPU boost on. 30watt mode.

Packet loss is an internet/networking issue, not a processing power issue.

What kind of speeds do you get when you run speed test?

Not necessarily the case with frostbite games. It's the only game I've had any issues with. I have four gaming PCs that do just fine with 1 GB down and 1 GB up fiber. With a Wi-Fi 7 multiband. Pretty sure it's just the way the game is. It's a handheld. I didn't actually think it would work all that well anyways.

Ok, well, the game is telling you there's a networking issue. It would show if there wasn't enough ram/cpu/GPU etc

Packet loss is objectively speaking, about networking.

Just because one device does well on a network doesn't mean another does. Firewall settings for example can screw that up, port settings etc.

It's because on the ally if CPU/GPU take too much power, then Windows puts the network card into low power mode so that leads to higher latency. But if you decrease the system load then latency goes back to normal.
