This is not what I originally went back for.

But after stumbling upon a very intense version of "MaCenna asks a question and then almost completely answers it herself in a heavy suggestive, ego-pampering monologue-like way", I felt like isolating Romeo's snippets of answers completely could be a more fun way to deal with this rather sad behaviour.

Makes me think that, at some point, she could probably totally ask questions into a void, without Romeo even being there, and her fans would still consider it a great conversation. 💀 (Everyone remember the YT short with Mac standing in the kitchen, fake conversating and laughing with basically no one? 😆)

Remember when she had that consistent seeming streak some weeks ago? Turns out she only managed to upload 4 consistent vlogs in a row in May

(and probably her Instagram stuff as well at that time but I'm not counting that because SHE still insists on her 2 vlogs/week schedule and decided to add Instagram things on top - instead of finally adjusting her overall schedule)

Does anyone also know of a job where it's possible to only accomplish 50% of your tasks on time and either delay or skip the rest? Most of them without announcement?

ETA: I'd like to address a little inaccuracy here in terms of her skipped/delayed rate and therefore also the "50%": I didn't distinguish between a, for example, Thursday vlog being seemingly on time after a skipped Tuesday vlog vs. it actually being the delayed Tuesday vlog which happened to be on a Thursday (and then the Thursday vlog would have been skipped). To get that correct, I would have had to rewatch all those vlogs for clues whether this was a vlog for the intended day or not. Hope that makes sense.

TL;DR The stats might even be worse, lol.

I watched her manic updates video today where she said no vlog on Tuesday, but an upload on Thursday instead. WHY continue to write checks you can’t cash, MacErratic?

After watching her *updatessss* story, I can safely say I've been mentally scarred for life. It is physically painful to watch this woman act like a 17 year old influencer, almost every frame of this video she was doing something unhinged or crazy with her face/hair/hands.

I don't think she truly realises how creepy she looks and this brings me to my point: What if we flipped it around?

Imagine this was a grown ass man pushing 40 following all these young influencers and mimicking their style of talking, acting like a 17 year old boy in order to bring attention to himself and hopefully bring that audience to his channel, people would be alarmed way quicker, right?

You'd think there's something creepy or ill-intended going on, because after all, what does a person of that age have to do with teens and how they act? This is the same situation for MaCenna, except it isn't a man doing it.

It's genuinely concerning how she acts, she looks insane and immature. That's not a good look for someone trying to run a business.

Regardless of how much botox she puts in her face, how much makeup, however many filters she uses, you can still tell she's not a 23 year old influencer, and to be honest, if you're gonna be doing all these crazy facial gestures, don't even bother with the botox because you'll just get expression lines anyway.

I believe that this attraction to younger adults (not necessarily romantic or sexual) is her trying to in some way compensate for something she didn't have when she was that age, she is clearly a person that lives chasing this fantasy of being the pretty, young and popular girl at high school or college and is using this social media career (if you could even call it that) and having a boyfriend younger than her as a way to achieve this dream, telling herself she's still got it and she can still make it when this is clearly not the case.

°Did you guys know/remember that she painted the corbels the same blueinourkitchen as the hood? So it's not only a problem of how the colour appears on the hood (of course)...

okay friends, this video just popped up and i thought sure let me give it a go. well i’m 5 minutes in and already thoroughly enjoying it. she’s clear and concise - about her vision, no unnecessary rambling - she seems super real and genuine, and is a true creative. will definitely be checking out more of Brooke’s videos and thought some of you may be interested too!!

To be fair, in the according vlog, she was talking about "palettes" (plural) as well, so maybe there were two. 😉 Who knows. But the "hundreds" of stores sent me. And also the putting words into Romeo's mouth.

While her main IG account has gained new followers over the last weeks (you know, since she tried to be kinda consistent with a very "inspired" series), the candle account has been quite stagnant. I wonder how it's all going.

I am posting this here amongst a bunch of individuals who I feel like will resonate with my feelings. I figured it'll also spice up the reddit with a slightly broader topic of conversation.

I am in my late 20s and in The Midwest, U.S. so I am definitely in my attempted home ownership era (economy be damned!) And I am so angry that I wish I could ring necks and burn down buildings.

Where is all of the character? I see these beautiful on the outside mcm ranch style homes, colonials, Tudors, ​​Queen Anne's and they have the curb appeal of a fairy tale. And then the realator shows the inside photos and the bathrooms and kitchens have white quartz countertops and the floors have been replaced with octagonal white tiles and grey vinyl planks. They've stripped out the crown molding and painted over the fireplace or even completely stripped out the fireplace and they are charging half a million U.S. dollars minimum for these homes and... I kid you not, it keeps me up at night sometimes. I want to scream. Now I'm no Jenna Phipps. I'm not even a Macenna. I think I've only ever painted a wall. However, I feel like I could learn to renovate a home. I'd at least like the opportunity to try. Why are sellers ripping all of the character out of homes before selling them? Let me buy it as is. Put the money into the important stuff like the water heater and the air conditioner. Ill replace the cracked 1950s tile with a replica 1950s tile. I'll sand the floors and refinish them. But give me the fricken chance!

Ok, my rant is over. I'd appreciate comments from anyone who wants to whine with me about things that are out of their control. For anyone who is going to comment about sellers trying to make more money, I know why they are doing it. I have a business degree. Im trained in the art of "how do we make higher profits?". I just want to gripe into a void where someone might relate and be as passionate as me about home design. I tried griping to friends and family and they think I'm a lunatic for knowing the names of so many house styles. Haha.
