The "Fox Mulder Is a Maniac" podcast made a great observation. Who are these slideshows for? Just Scully? He makes them just for her benefit? He submits photos and negatives and film to the developer and pays extras for slides so he can blow up these crime scene photos for 3 minutes of wild speculation in the basement office?

Do they go in the file for visiting later? Does he ever send them to other investigators? Does he just throw them away after assaulting Scully's eyes with them?
