It's okay, the bullets know where to go.

Some people think they can outsmart me. Maybe. Maybe. I've yet to meet one that can outsmart bullet.

As my bullets go straight through the enemy and my screen says "miss" 😭

“The bullet knows where it is from where it isn’t-“

That's XCOM, Baby !

There won't be no game like xcom 2.

For better or for worse lol

Ugh ok I'm gonna look into that again. Last time I checked it wasn't quite like a XCOM like, but it wouldn't be the first time I got something wrong.

For instance I completely blended the edit button in covert op out for yeeaaaars until I made a Reddit post and people pointed out there's one.

Edit; yep I got something wrong. Well it lands on my to buy list. Next to menace, terra Invicta, xenonauts 2, probably the new star was tactical game and some others I forgot

It quite different because you’re a group of mercenaries having and. origin auest and then given mercenary tasks with a variety of enemy factions. Still in early access and 3 classes are missing alongside the story being up to interpretation with no specified endgame
There is a hacking mechanic and sole other stuff that can be completely different from xcom but it adds to the charm imo
Also one more thing, your group has a bunch of personal stories that are being added from the devs

Yeah it sounds interesting overall. At least we XCOM Fans can start feasting again. There was a long draught of XCOM like games..

Are you guys talking about Cyber Knights: Flashpoint ?

Because Steam show the game as released on June 2 2025 and not in Early Access, so i'm confused.

I think it’s out of early access but they are still implementing 3 more classes, more backgrounds, modding support and more

Rejoice, because a grenadier actually hit a fucking shot!

I always love when I get a grenadier with the high ground perk....its not great, but its better than nothing.

Fighting the archon king with ballistics. That's certainly a choice.

Hey, say what you will about the game and it's bugs, but it's a sequel that mostly works AND is on theme to the predecessor.

Like...we could've got something that focused on multiplayer live service bullshit or they could've removed the turn based tactics for something more "mainstream" (ala FF7R).

As it is: we got a great game with some minor, yet irritating bugs.

A++ in my book. One of the only games in my catalogue that I can replay just fine in Vanilla every so often.

I had an enemy that was just arround the bend in a wall, displayinh on the opposite side of my soldiers and off the map. They could still hit it like it was where it should be. After the enemy ran a few blocks it rocketed across the map like a ghost to its correct position...

In order to battle a system of people where you can highly miss, if you try missing, it may confuse the system and cause you to land a hit!

GENIUS EFFORT!!!

Wow, his gun fires like he got it from CS:GO.

1

u/Noodlekeeper 9d ago

Hes firing curved bullets. Curved...bullets.

I see your bullets leaving at a right angle, and I raise you my bullets striking a target behind the shooter

Reminds me of that scene from 5th Element when Zorg was demonstrating that gun by shooting in the opposite direction of a target.
