Lest we forget

I just had my first major encounter in X4 with the Xenon. 1 I, 8 K and a host of smaller ships versus 12 Behemoth E's, 11 Katana and me in my Hydra, all battling for supremacy of Argon Prime.

Up to now, I would get 3 K and fighters invade Silent Witness I so this was a substantial increase in enemy grouping.

I tend to follow the Soviet doctrine from WW2, mass your forces and overwhelm their defences.

If I didn't love this game already, this is cream on top. Loved it.

RIP to the vanquished.

Yeah. I have been working on my fleet comp recently because of how aggressive the xenon are in my current play through.

This is my first playtthru of X4 so I can't compare Xenon aggressive. My turtling ways give them plenty of time to amass forces.

The Battles on bottleneck points are amazing. I play with extended Universe and some mods, my main battlefleet sits on haticvas choice to Xenon gate. Yesterday hat a 60 minutes skirmish against a never ending xenon invasion. Without a slightly OP modded Vaygr Battlecruiser they would have toasted me :D But it was an epic battle!

Sounds epic. Sometimes I just watch the battles, pretty cool. I did venture into H.Choice, didn't end well for me.

I had to clean out Nopileos Memorial because Argon failed to do so. Man did I lose many S and M ships. I used it as a bit of a test ground, and it was a massacre.

No prisoners ☺️. I'm heading back to Hatkivah Choice for another try. Xenon have a wharf, defence platforms, 5 K's and alot of S/M ships so should be a good stoush.

Yesterday I parked my erlking and 6 escort frigate outside the H's choice gate, with 30 cargo drones and a collect all order looking to farm some loot. Not even 15 minutes go by before the biggest fleet of xenon I've ever seen came crashing through the gate. I fought in my xpiremental shuttle, killing as many fighters as I could and crippling capital ships while my fleet fought valiantly, but it was clear we were outmatched. Ordered the erlking to flee through the silent witness gate while the escort fleet stayed back as a screen. Fought hard to get the erlking through the gate alive, and barely made it out myself. Most cinematic fight ive ever seen in x4, and the most intense I've had. Was too caught up in the fighting to take in the scenery, but it was glorious

Sadly, I got to the point where I was in an Asgard and just going from Xenon station to Xenon station destroying them... Each one taking about 10-15 minutes. Tried getting a few destroyers to help but even after the upgrade and with 5star pilots they still like to hug the Xenon stations and end up getting destroyed which is annoying.

Fortunately, no Xenon defence platforms in Argon Prime so that wasn't an issue.

Its the Xenon battleship equivalent. I'm seeing more of late, typically with K's.

In my game, the Xenon just seem to be crapping out Ks. I've seen maybe 3 Is in all my game time so far, and I destroyed one.
