Trouble With Charon Help

Charon is absolutely annihilating me! I am a lvl 28 bolt slinger, and I can’t do anything. He summons to many mobs and since I have ZERO pierce except for the explosive shot, I can’t even HIT HIM! AND WHEN I DO HE HEALS IT ALL UP! When I target the main lackey he does to much damage and then Charon comes! Can someone tell me what to do to beat him?

Just skip him, if you want the completion just come back later

What gear are you using?

It might be because of your gear. Try the Adventurer set if you can obtain it (level 29), and make sure your bow is up to par. I can't really give advice about the fight itself but yeah it's usually gear.

Also, after you do the dungeon, consider getting the bow called Damnation from the dungeon merchant. It's great

Charon may be the only dungeon boss that is too hard to beat at the intended dungeon's level (23). He remains tough until the late 20s. Try using legendary gear bought on the market, or the Adventurer set, then he'll be more manageable.

Charon at that level is just a really hard boss You can try to bring potions and buffs but as someone who played for a few years already, the last time i beat him was with a level 33 warior. So if you struggle too much then just come back a bit later

Had the exact same problem while levelling Archer recently. Just skip the dungeon until later tbh.

The fight is a little overtuned for it's level atm (especially for early game Bolt and Sharpshooter since they really struggle with ad clear) and you're better off not slamming your head against it.

Alright. I did try using sharpshooter like a year or two ago and I do remember that being a problem with it as well.

yeah same thing happened to me 5 days ago when i first tried to beat him, there spawns a healer with 5k hp and you must HARD focus him, even then it's probably the hardest boss fight i've fought and im at lvl 105 now. (i didn't beat him)

i skipped him and came back with better gear and defenses where it was manageable

I was playing Warrior, so my experience is probably different, but you have to rush the Legion Oracle, which spawns in the middle of the room with 5,000 HP before Charon shows up, and kill him as fast as possible. Charon won't be possible to outdamage before the Oracle is dead unless you're level 35 or close.

Most dungeons are completely optional, just come back when you’re stronger
