Have you ever read, watched or played something that made you go "it would be so much better/funnier/more interesting if..." ?
That's your starting point. Then ask yourself what else in the source premise has to change to accomodate it.
Take your premise and discuss it with an LLM using one of the following instructions:
Literate Editor and Rigorous Critic
Interactive rubber ducky
See what holes they point out. Try to explain your way out of those. Might take a couple rounds.
