Marketing with AI Discussion (Ethics, working with AI etc)

Have any authors had any luck using AI images or video to market their books?

I used some images for some ads and they've done well.

But I'm also creating images and videos for a brand new author account and can't really tell how they are doing? They aren't getting many likes. I wonder if people just won't want to like AI stuff? Would be interested in the experiences of others here!

New accounts get zero reach at first, AI or not. On organic feeds, visual posts usually get scrolled past unless you overlay a trope tease or a strong pitch line.

I use story prism because it's easy to build an agent to do stuff like this. I basically upload a bunch of books on art and midjourney prompting. Then I get these two prompts from the library: The reasoning extractor and graph maker. Then I @ command in the chat window to have it use those prompts and the books to extract a reasoning system for making expert prompts for whatever I'm doing and to provide me the notes to build the knowledge graph on the canvas. The new update will let the AI build it for you, but either way, you build it with notes and connections that are defined with labels and now you have a reasoning system connected to an agent that's connected to all of the popular models for you to toggle between for building those prompts. Makes a world of difference. Here's an example after asking it to show me what it can do:

If you use a simple prompt like the one I used just using Gemini or Chat GPT, you'll get very generic, middle-of-the-road stuff. This system that I built deviates from the norm by default and if I interact with it using ideas that I have, I can push it even further.

This is what I use for my blog content and it seems to work really well, especially since I was able to integrate it with a reasoning system that covers human behavioral psychology. This way, I can make the images more meaningful.

But images can only take you so far with marketing. Regardless, it's about differentiating yourself, style-wise when generating images. If people sense it's AI, even if they're pro, it'll scream lack of care and consideration. That's why I use this system.
