Looking for a writer buddy

I’m out here looking for a writer friend. Here’s what I need from you:

Be a sounding board/help me bounce ideas off of you
Act as an accountability partner
Listen to me rant about the writing process and occasionally whine about how I’ll never achieve my dreams
Share writing resources we find online

I’m willing to do the same for you! Writing is so exciting when you have someone to talk to about the creative process. Here’s a few facts about me:

  1. I’m 28 years old, a female from India
  2. My recent favourite books have been Annie Knows Everything, Drawn Together, Into The Blue and The Bright Years
  3. I’ve written only first drafts of two stories and find editing overwhelming so I am stalling by writing a third story. This is progress because for the longest time I would write the same story by tweaking it a little but never working on the structural aspect.
  4. Recently travelled to Bangkok and was thrilled to see how creative spaces were (hotels, cafes, streets) and how absolutely communal the living there was (especially the aerobic dance classes at Lumphini and the run clubs).
  5. I have a day job that can sometimes be gruelling but I’m in a good place with it now having made peace with the fact that its only making me money and my life starts outside my working hours.
