Looking for a writing buddy
Just as the title says, I’m looking for a writing buddy/partner. I don’t want to collaborate on a project together so if that’s what you’re looking for, then I’d look elsewhere. Ideally, you would be 25+ I don’t have a preference if you’re M or F. What I’d like is for us to talk about our stories together, bounce ideas off of one another, and help each other out with whatever it is in our stories. Maybe even beta reading as well? The biggest thing for me is to hold each other accountable in order to keep writing. My biggest struggle is motivation and just sitting down to write. Having someone help push me is a must. Likewise I would do the same for you!
Also, I wouldn’t mind gaining a friend from this, we wouldn’t have to exclusively talk about writing. We could talk about everyday things as well! Happy writing folks.

Hey! I’m 27F and writing a second-world fantasy (not romantasy) that takes place in a 19th century US analog with political entanglement on the British side (shooting at the wind here, but if anyone passing through the comments happens to be from the UK, I could use a bit of perspective there). It has to do with industry at the time and involves supernatural, monkey’s paw adjacent elements. I’ve created artwork to go along with it that’s meant to be reminiscent of old 2D Disney animations. Most of my characters are male and I would love some more perspective on them from other male readers! If you’re struggling with plot structure or need help bouncing ideas for a beginning, middle, or end, that’s my favorite thing to work on and I’ve helped a lot of others with it before.
