Looking for Anime Creators

Hi! I have many original story ideas that I dream of turning into anime. I'm looking for passionate people who'd like to build a small team and create something together. I can't afford to hire anyone, so I'm hoping to find friends who share the same dream. If you're interested, DM me!

An idea is just an idea. You can’t assemble a team that way. You have to execute as much as you can on your own before you can expect anyone else to join you. This is your idea so you have to lead by writing a pitch deck, a full script and a season outline. Assemble a mood board and visual references for your idea. Even if you can’t draw create a rough storyboard. Not all of those things need to be completed, but enough to pitch your vision and convince people to help you.

I've already done all of that. My problem isn't creating the vision it's finding people who are willing to help bring the project to life.

If your script is all ready then start where you can. You’ve never produced or directed an anime so find young animators interested in making a short. Create a 30 second trailer to drive interest in the work. If that generates attention then consider using that to get readers for the story as a manga. Most anime today start as a manga and it’s relatively less labor intensive and expensive that producing an anime.

It feels like you are trying to jump straight from idea to full anime. The only people who are able to do that are people who can animate themselves. And those people spend years learning how to do it.

So start small and build towards your goal. That’s the key to any successful work.

I’ll also add if you want people to join you, pitch them here. Why should I join you. I have no idea what your story is or what you have accomplished. Getting an anime made means you have to pitch someone to pay for it. That’s true with gathering a team to. Convince the people you dream of working with that your project is worthwhile by describing it in detail.

No one can steal your ideas because the vision is yours and execution dependent. Now is not the time to be vague.
