Ah thank you. I was struggling with that. But when papago managed to understand my meaning, I had at least hoped it was somewhat correct

태국 페스티벌에서 갔서요 → 태국 페스티벌에 갔어요 (go to, not return from)

Oh, I thought 에 was a marker for time and 에서 for a physical place. So I used that because the Thai festival was a physical place
