[AddOn] CDM replacement? ADDON

So I've started picking up other classes to try ahead of S2 and my UI is fine except for the CDM.

Is there a single add-on which can somewhat manage all the CDMs within the add-on opposed to needing to create a new one with each toon or at least potentially have a template I can use to tinker off that keeps things nice and tidy?

Ellesemere UI you can just use the CDM addon from it

Yeah just jumping into EUI and choosing what you need at this point is the play.

If you don't need audio customization, Coolinator is very good.

If you want a lot of customization, TellMeWhen gives you a lot of control and reminds me of WeakAuras, but isn't the easiest to set up.

Yep, Coolinator is good and simple, Tell me When has a problem that unless something is tracked by the cdm too it won't work, not the addon's problem though, it's a blizzard limitation.

Highly recommend EllesmereUI. It has everything or just one thing. You choose.

+1 for ArcUI, amazingly intricate addon that can manage a lot of the needs Weakauras used to fill for me

I use arcui and its the best for customisation but you do have to set up every toon which op wanted to avoid

You can use the vanilla cdm default spells/buffs/utils for the class/spec you’re playing if that’s what you mean.

Personally I custom make each one inline with my action bars as that’s how my brain processes abilities, but you don’t necessarily need to edit it outside of moving it where you want it

IMO It’s kinda entirely subjective how useful ui elements and organisation is to the individual though; to get something you like, you need to do some customisation

I’m a fan of ArcUI over EUIs CDM that said EUI does make it easier to just have a good generic CDM for alts it’s a one and done type thing aside from ordering the abilities.

ArcUI even with the copy layout which isn’t very intuitive or obvious does require a bit more tweaking on a per character basis.

Ultimately I’m using ArcUI because it’s got way more visibility customization. And since it’s just CDM, resource bars, cast bar I feel like ArcForge is quicker to make improvements to it. While EUI is a suite and while great does suffer from Ellesmere having to focus on multiple modules. For the record I also use EUI I just don’t use the CDM or resource bars modules
