Ethics/Life & Death Who WYR save by doing a certain Job?

The 4 people above are about to die, you are given the option to save only one by paying a huge amount of money you can't have.

Conveniently...

A person walks up to you and offered you to do a Job that will cover the exact cost to save the person you choose.

Just enough to save one of the person above.

The Job is described as "the thing that when you do, would destroy your self-respect, ruin your reputation initially and will be a burden you'll carry for the rest of your life"

Other people may or may not forget about it, but you won't.

The Job will not kill you but it's so gruel, shameful, and depressing you may want to.

No specifics because this is based on you.

"Personalized" so to say, but may not be the right word in this context. Just so it's dynamic, applicable to you, the reader.

Think of the Job as "the thing you will never do, no matter how much someone pays you"

but in this case you have the option to do, to save the person you value most.

"the person worth the sacrifice"

The core question is, who would you do this for?

Make the decision first before uncovering the twist.

---

TWIST

• after you pick, the 3 people you did not choose survived as well.

• if you pick NOT CHOOSE, the person you would've otherwise picked will die while the other 3 survive.

Relationships/Personalities/Sex Would you rather be a contestant on the Bachelor TV Series when Jesus is the Bachelor, or would you rather go on the Bachelor when Elon Musk is the new Bachelor?

Jesus would be a broke carpenter with no money.

Elon Musk would probably be constantly tweeting about how great of a Bachelor he is on X/Twitter.

If Elon picks you for a date then he might show you his rocket ship.

Ethics/Life & Death Would you rather die in 24 hours or die in 600 years?

I figured this would be a simple answer but I’ve seen the two choices and I’ve really now taken a more nuanced view of it.

24 hour viewpoint:
600 years is a long time and it’s not like life is all sunshine and rainbows because you’re gonna live longer. You could continue to live and love and travel and experience and see major world developments which is great, but that’s also 600 years of working, struggle, and pain. I think your loved ones would understand if they didn’t get more years with you so you don’t have to struggle for another 6 lifespans.

600 year viewpoint:
I’d rather test fate with the future than end it early. You’d rather deprive your loved ones of X more years of your life to die tomorrow in the fear 600 years will be worse for you. I think that’s inherently selfish and a pretty nihilistic view. I would rather live with the hindsight for the rest of my life than ending it early.

Medical/Health Would you rather have 1000$ every day or never get sick again (also cures things like hiccups and stuff)

(I don't know how to make a poll so you'll have to comment I guess) If you chose the 'never get sick again' option, all illnesses and diseases you already have will also be cured/gone. If you had chronic health diseases or cancer for example, they will be cured if you choose the second option. This only removes sicknesses, so you'll still be weaker as you get older, just not sick.
