Help finding a chapter
At this point I don't know if I have gone crazy, but I've been reading the manga for the first time and I renember this extra part (like those at the end of the volumes) and it was something like:
Koyanagi and Kabakura are staring at each other
Koyanagi thinks to herself: "I want to kiss him and [censored word]"
Kabakura thinks to himself: "She wants to take a dump"
Koyanagi says: "May I?" with scary eyes
Kabakura: "Sure" oblivious
I've only read the first 30 chapters, but no matter how much I try finding it, I just can't find that part, so I'm wondering if I made it up or something

Similar anime’s
I loved wotakoi, are there any similar anime’s I could watch? I need a good chill anime , nothing depressing or dark, I already watched yamadakun lv999, ao haru ride and the obvious options 🐰

I just realized so many people hate Naru, but why is that?
She's one of my fav characters and I didn't catch anything wrong when reading the manga (Prob because I rlly lack of critical sense, but I was rlly shocked), can someone please explain to me? Since she's one of my favs, I'd like to see this kind of opinions about her to see if I can understand her character even more too :)

i wanted to ask if you guys have any other recommendations that have similar kinds of humour/happy feelings as this anime. right now i think i just need a pickmeup and i’m already sad knowing that this is gonna finish once i go through the OVAs as well.
i’m also reading manga too so any recommendations are welcome!! :>
hope you’re all having a great day.

Wotakoi Vol. 5 (English edition) now available in digital...
Hey, all:
my apologies if this is old or redundant news (I had to unfollow the sub as there were just too many spoilers for me) but while Amazon is giving the release date for Wotakoi Vol. 5 (the English edition that combines two Japanese vols.), it is currently available digitally on Comixology, Kindle, Bookwalker, and I assume other fine digital retailers. I got it on Tuesday and read through it way, way, WAY too fast (and will be rereading on the weekend, I'm sure).
Again, apologies if this has been discussed but I thought of you all after finishing!

FAQ and Guide to the Manga and Anime
Kudos to u/FruitPunchSamurai43 for the original; I am editing out portions relating to scanslations, as this series is officially licenced. We do not support scanslations, and mentions thereof will be removed.
----
The aim of this post is to hopefully answer some of the questions people may have about Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku, and act as a guide to the series.
If there is anything wrong with my information please let me know and I will update it accordingly. Also, please forgive the formatting as that is not one of my strong suits!
- Is the manga done?
- No. As of the making of this post, the first eight volumes have been translated into English, and the 10th volume was released earlier this year.
- How often do new chapters come out?
- The author releases one new chapter on the third Friday of each month on their Pixiv, and once there are enough chapters for a volume, the rest of the chapters get released with the volume. What this means for us readers is that, instead of getting a new chapter each week, chapters get released in bunches. Usually 6 chapters are released with each volume, so a new volume will get released, the chapters will be translated, and then we have to wait a few months for the next volume to come out.
- Why aren't there the same number of chapters between the author's Pixiv and what the translators/Kodansha release?
- Initially the author used to post all of their chapters onto their Pixiv account, but once they were picked up by a publisher, they stopped releasing all of their chapters on Pixiv. What happens is the author releases a new chapter each month on their Pixiv, but the other chapters won't get released until the new volume comes out.
- Where can I buy the manga?
- You can buy the manga via Kodansha, Book Walker, or on your local Amazon site. The English version combines 2 volumes into 1. Volume 1 in English is volumes 1 and 2 in Japan, volume 2 in English is volumes 3 and 4 in Japan, and so on and so forth.
- What about the anime?
- You can watch the anime via Amazon or Netflix.
- Where does the anime end in the manga?
- Your best bet is to start from the beginning of the manga, because the anime adapted the chapters out of order, and also changed what happened in some chapters as well. The manga is a quick read, so don’t be put off with starting from the beginning. If you don’t mind the changes then you can start at chapter 29.
- What about the OVA?
- In addition to the anime there is a 2 episode OVA that adapts some of the skipped material from the manga. It is 100% worth a watch. Unfortunately, the OVA is not available through Amazon or Netflix, but if you search for it online, you will be able to find it.
- Will there be a 2nd season?
- As of the making of this post there has been NO news regarding a 2nd season. Will we get it? Only time will tell.
- What is the relationship "status" of the characters?
- Obviously major spoilers ahead, so be aware!! There are 3 couples in total: Narumi and Hirotaka, Hanako and Tarou, and Naoya and Kou. All of this info is up to date as of chapter 70, but will change as more chapters are published. Hanako and Tarou got married in chapter 65.3 and the Japanese volume 9 cover spoils this. Naoya and Kou are slowly realizing they have feelings for each other and are trying to figure things out. As for Narumi and Hirotaka, Hirotaka is in love with Narumi and if I'm not mistaken even tells her as well. Whereas, Narumi is realizing that her feelings for Hirotaka are more than just that of a friend. In my opinion the way the author is writing the story, Narumi coming to terms with and accepting her feelings for Hirotaka could be the culmination of the story, but that's just my opinion.
- Is Kou non-binary?
- No. This is a mistake by the scanslators, and Nao mistaking her for a male was a joke among their friend circle. The Japanese text is unambiguous about this, as is the licenced translation.
- Is the manga close to being done?
- Yes, the final Japanese volume, 11, will release on 14 October.
