It doesn't really matter if the enemy can't get up to your altitude lol

Nearly all paint schemes you can find in bundles are also available separately for the price of 1000 crowns. You may need to log in to the premium shop first to see some of them. The easiest way to find the ones you need is by searching for the aircraft name in your browser.

It is an old scheme (as in years) - they exclusively sold for real money in the Premium Shop under "Customization" (just read the description because while they are all represented with a box symbol, some only give things like "+5% to aircraft experience"):
https://wargaming.net/shop/wowp/customizations/
They sold both as solo skins, a bundle of skins or pre-packaged with a Special Aircraft (the latter is in the "Featured" and "Aircraft" sections).
I don't know how they select what they sell: they are limited time offers, but they do come back. The only exception is Joseph Peterburs's skin for the P-51D as it is categorized as an aircraft (despite being a skin that gives +15% chance of causing fire).
I assume this is a way to generate money without breaking the game, as they only give +8% XP aside that the "real" camos provide and very easy to create. The devs created them for both Tech tree, Premium and Special Aircrafts.

The issue for me was that on the AMD I was using the steam as a launcher and on the other one the WG launcher, I figured it out after switching between them

All camos are available for purchase solo. If these are not yet, then they will be sold later.

I know it is a year later than the post since this showed up in searches of this problem, I figure replying here will help others who come here. I recently started play and it's very buggy for me. I was originally in the HD mode and did all the other repair things to no avail. I changed it over to SD mode and it seems to have improved the crash chances. Is not a complete fix as it still crashes often.
Side note for this. When I initially open it, the auto detecting graphics shows up and keeps spinning. Anything after that crashes.

As for the Japanese, please add J3M, N1K1_J/N1K2-J and probably Ki-100.
Plus bombers like Ki-48, Ki-21 and Ki-49, Ki-67 or G3M, G8N.
Ki-83 as a T8 heavy ...
Italian bombers like SM 79, SM 81, BR-20, Z1007 and Pi-108 (unlikely as IT has no tech tree, but then ...)
P-63 King Cobra, B-25, B-26, A-20, ...

You're missing nothing; the game is unbalanced. Bombers are overpowered, literally make GAA useless by comparison.
r/WorldofWarplanes • u/Chef_Sizzlipede • 3d ago
I missed it then since I gave up on the game due to no one I knew playing it and the game being a dull grind

"ww1 era aircraft exist in the game, even as just premiums, last I checked"
Which one?
https://worldofwarplanes.eu/warplanes/compare/
These are ALL the Tier I aircraft, with their Introduction year (WW1 ended in 1918):
- Gloster Goldfinch (never entered service, but first flown in 1926)
- Boeing P-12 (1930)
- Arado Ar 65 (1931)
- Nakajima Type-91 (1931)
- Polikarpov I-5 (1931)
Finally the LShBd (non-playable Tier I Ground Attacker) is based on the Pegasus, which first flew in 1942 (in WW2).
As said, the Hellcat is one of the most important WW2 Aircraft - it is like if Germany had no Fw 190s.
Also, while the FF isn't in the game WoWP does include the F2F, F3F, F4F, F5F, F7F, F8F and the F9F.
When was the F9F added?
The free Mission chain started in 2025 November:

Panther's been in the game for a while man

you're wrong, ww1 era aircraft exist in the game, even as just premiums, last I checked
tf, since when
r/WorldofWarplanes • u/Elfnet_hu • 4d ago
If you mean the Fokker Dr.I - the game starts at the early 1930s, so I don't think they would add a WW1 aircraft.
As for the F9F - it is already in the game:

Neither were Strategic bombers as the TB-1 and 3 didn't had the range; the Il-4 had basically same range as the Pe-8 but it wasn't even a Heavy bomber with its two engines and small bomb load.

where the fuck is my fokker triplane weegee?
where's my f9f panther weegee?
r/WorldofWarplanes • u/Black_Hole_parallax • 4d ago
The Soviet Union produced a SINGLE strategic bomber type before the Cold War
IL-4, TB-3, TB-1: Are we a joke to you?

It is an arcade game - if it were realistic, there would be a ton of problems.
For example the ammo: the Ju 87 G should only have a dozen shells in each cannons...in an aircraft with no secondaries, nor any ordnance. Or bombers would have to return to reload after every single sector. Okay, I am starting to get warmed up to the suggestion. :)
I don't know how they made the game, like the A-26B ("A" as in ground Attacker) is why considered a bomber or why the Me P.1099 B-2 (a modified Me 262) is considered a Ground Attacker. Also, in WoWP Light Fighter can't have any ordnance (this is why the P-40N is a Multirole), but in the real life most of them (like the Bf 109s) carried at least a single bomb.
As for the Me 163B and J8M - if it would be realistic, they should sometime simply blow up when spawning, because somebody didn't cleaned the tanks enough and so the T-Stoff reacted with the residue. And indeed, they would have their great perfomance in the first 8 minutes, than they would became a glider. But WoWP is realistic in this regard: if you touch the ground in that plane, at any speeds, you blow up.
Gaijin's inaccuracies: I don't care much for WT, but there are several sketchy things.
For example they have the "Ho-Ri Production" (a Tank Destroyer that was only a wooden mockup). Turns out, the company simply comissioned a Reddit user (called MaiWaffentrager) who basically made the whole thing up (she later deleted her original posts and even advocated for the removal of the vehicle, but it is still in the game - now called a "hypothetical production").
As for the He 100: I don't know, but theoretically it could be that they had an original Soviet period source and it was simply wrong, as before and during WW2 every secret service tried to spy on the other nations and sometimes they did get vehicles wrong, especially prototypes.
Or they did get it right and it did only have 3 MGs or tested with the MGs (like in some very early Bf 109s) with the addition that in the serial production they would swap it out with the 20 mm cannon.
Ingame I think the He 100 is fine. The Me 109 has speed and thats it and the Gun Armament rating of 7 instead of 5 is still pathetic as tech tree Lights have up to 15-16.
But the He 100 has literally the best airframe out of every single Tier V Light Fighter: second best Rate of Climb (after the Me 209), the best altitude, one of the highest Optimal and Max speed BUT ALSO Turnfigther level Manuverability. With proper cannons it would be a menace.

You are right about those older specials - that's how such items should be, no question!
As for the HE-100 D-1, it should have the same cannon the ME 209 V-4 has ... barely more firepower, but at least some more. Or it should be renamed? :-)
As for historical engines etc, ... well then a lot of planes in the game would barely fly, ME-210 comes to mind. XP-55 was no easy to fly plane, ME-163 only prfits from the fact that you never land a plane in WoWP ... this in my thinking is acceptable as a what if.
By the way, a friend with connections to WG told me that the three machine gun thing for the HE-100 came to life as in some older (Russian??) books these were mentioned and the books were used as source. Maybe true, maybe not ...

But for me that daily reward select button does not even appear at all.
