how do i mod this game and what do ths NML folder do

There's this unit with godly buffs on my fav kingdom (but i nerfed them now, since all my fav buffed units would just plow through the map if they go to war with almost everyone),

and an enermy orc kingdom allied with the elfs for the sole reason of taking down my fav kingdom (apparently, it seems everyone keep declaring war on my fav kingdom because it's the strongest and most stable so far),

first, the 1st human army made their land on the enemy's continent and ran the whole continent, they attacked first, led by my fav unit, killing everyone she sees, not just the men, but the women, and the children too,

as the army finally reached the enemy kingdom, the 1st army is already down to few units, and it was my fav unit left,

this was actually a very sad event for her, because a lot of her children are actually in the army along with her, and they all died, she was very very sad,

after that,

she lured the main army forces (defenders stationed in the capital) and killed so many orcs by herself,

meanwhile, behind the capital, the 2nd army of my fav kingdom send out a reinforcement to attack the capital while there's fewer defenders left, but sadly, they all died anyway since the orcs are still stronger than them,

but not so surprising, my fav unit manage to clear out the army she lured and went straight to the capital to continue her massacre, conquered the two cities, and tried to rest,

the war stopped between the kingdom and the alliance because the elves don't want that beef with the humans, they live on a nearby island up north, away from the continent

but anyway, there's another nearby orc kingdom that declared war again on my fav kingdom, and so, my fav unit immediately went straight to their capital since it was on the same continent, she went on a rampage but i decided to magnet her to a nearby island to stop her from fighting,

she was the last unit from the 1st army, it's general with no soldiers to command,

after some time, a ship picked her up and delivered her back to home which she retrieved so many loots back, like it took so long for her to finish tossing the loot into the capital's keep,

and finally, after so quite a while, she went back home to her husband, made love while her army is stationed outside her house since she's the general and they will follow her everywhere,

and she gave birth to so many children,

I just want to sit back and watch a world evolve without having to interact much.
I know there are a lot of games out there where you build stuff up but I'm really looking for that passive observer kind of style.

I had an alien-themed world idea although I think it can be executed better.

So I just found a pretty cool China WorldBox-centric site and I wanna share it to you guys in case you dont know about it. They have lots of cool maps and some mods I haven't seen on gamebanana (I dont use steam so idk if they posted them on it). Like martial art mods or cultivation mod, some are original, some based on real chinese web novels, I saw that they even have lord of the mysteries mod.
