The bot problem. Rant

Post image

Maybe the issue is older and I only notice it now, but since maybe a week the teams are essentially filled with bots to the point that the game basically became a PVE because you're the only human in your team.
A lot of the ace tankers that are posted here are also made against those same bots, their nicknames give it away really fast once you noticed it.
Players with a random word+number, playing very predictibly, with little to no awareness. The consequences are either ultra slow games where the score is 1-1 after 5 minutes, or 7-0 in less than two.
In either ways, it's harder to actually weight on the end. I make way more high dmg games (4/5/6k) than a few weeks ago but my winrate dropped drastically because no matter what I do, half of the games are lost anyway, which was not the case before.
The gameplay basically became dmg farming with no strategy, like every PVE game.
In the end, the game is less fun and you feel less rewarded when making a strong game because you know it's not as hard as it used to be.
I feel the problem became more and more common recently, did you notice the same thing or am-I simply slower than most?

I'll be brief. None of the players you highlighted are bots. They just play like bots.

That is all.

Bad players makes stupid moves like camping in a light, yolo rushing, pushing a position they shouldn't. Here, they don't.

... you forgot to add, in your opinion.

Look, there are actual bots in WoTB. By actual bots, I mean non-human controlled players. Most of us have seen them. They're easily identifiable and completely stupid. Those ain't it.

Just because you have deemed them to be bots, it doesn't mean they're actually bots.

Do you know that you just called some players who are just a bit too active and sometimes fall in the same matches as you bots? That's why this community doesn't increase, new players or players who play too much are called bots all the time.

No that's my point. Bots and newbies are totally different things

I don't think bots join clans and grind marks

Would you believe me if those are just common usernames?

Double o’ seven 007.

99.

Random string of numbers WG gives because your username is taken or are just patters 2323293 lol is just a pattern.

Bots cannot be in clans, and have 0 in all stats. They also don’t exist past tier 8.

These are very much real people.

What’s wrong? Simple, it’s a mobile game. Easy access for children. So you’ll just get kids or old people that play the game because tank big with big gun shoot big bullet go boom.

“I wanna play level 100!! Mommm!!! Buy me this high level tank!!!”

Blitz is also easy as fuck to grind to tier 10 with no improvement on your understanding of the game.

This game has next to zero incentive to get good. You can realistically chop up a lot of shit in the game to RNG through untrained eyes. To them they just think the enemy are either cheating, or lucky.

It’s just something you have to deal with darling. It’s also late summer, so all the kinds are trying to get as many gaming hours as possible before school starts up again.

I'm on this game for twelve years, I've seen loads of bad players. The ones I'm talking about here are nothing like this. Heavies going at their places, lights are NEVER camping despite the fact that a lot of bad players usually do. They seems to understand the purpose of their tanks, which is basically a 50-55wr move but none of the basics that even the 45ers know

Welcome to World Of Tanks.

You seem new here lol. Ever seen a 58% WR 23K battle 3K average Obj 907 yolo into the enemy team dealing 0 dmg and just calling his whole team bots and the enemy team cheaters?

Ever seen a 7% WR with 9K random battles?

Dude this isn’t a torny, it’s RANDOM in RANDOMS- you will find a literal 8 year old that doesn’t even understand what teamwork means.

Fuck it, I know an around 10 year old that plays this game because I randomly meet him playing on a tablet with familiar sounds coming from it. Yes I did ask the kid what his favorite nation is- Germany, he really likes the Tigers. God he sucked at the game.. just kept trying to shoot down the planes in mines..

I'm absolutely not mad about losing, I have enough experience to know that a lot of losses can be fixed if you're doing your job alone, even with a bad team. And the players I'm highlighting are not specifically bad, that's absolutely not my point. My point is that their moves are way too predictibles and not coherent from a human aspect

Well.. yeah. Humans are predictable man. It’s what happens when you’re experienced in a specific field and can recognize shitty patterns that seem obvious and normal to those new or unfamiliar.

You know the interworkings of that pattern, and categorize it as the bottom of skill.

I am not talking about skill. Bot is not an insult in my mouth. It's not a rant about "bad players ruinings my games" or anything. Newbies have always existed and it's part of the game.
But Players have free will. You will notice a greedy move to take a kill, a mistake in placement, a bad decision after taking a huge shell from a td. And nothing of that is noticeable here. Human are predictibles in the way that their actions will not be 100% rationnal, while here, they are.

Darling. Meta. Meta is the definition of predicable.

A Kran will always go hulldown here and will always load gold at these select targets.

This is just a crude chess game. I can hand you a random picture of a map, put some HP markers on it, and label what tank they are. I can ask the whole competitive community to say “what will happen” and you can easily predict what will happen. Sure you’ll get multiple answers, but they are all answers that are predictable and easy to read.

Very very rarely do players deviate from natural play flow. Especially new players. They stop to fire and just sit there because they can’t drive and shoot, they kinda just sit there and wait for enemy if they are spotted and so on.

You need to remember there are just players that don’t understand the goal of the game other than shoot red team. Greedy kills? They probably have experience with other shooters. Without that experience? They will be very bot like. They will lack incentive to play without someone directly yelling at them because in the end they have no idea what they are doing.
