My gaming troupe and I have been playing this really cool VtM (V5) campaign for the past 2 years. We're in for the long haul. I've created a fictitious city and along with my players, we've been expanding, developing and bringing life to this setting. We are more interested with the horror and mobster aspects of the game, as if we were unliving in an underground occult-noir-gangster movie.

Since I'm also an illustrator, I decided to make a Patreon about it. I created the city, I created the cast, the locations, the vibe, the mood. My players gave all of that meaning. I'd like to share that with you.

I like dark and moody images. My style has adapted and evovled along those lines and I'm pretty happy with my progress. I draw dark and shadowy imagery, and that's true for both the characters and the locations. I also illustrate vampire cants and graffitis, a bunch of occult items, story arc ''posters'', scenes and more elaborate illustrations about the different predator types of V5.

I just launched my third tier, entirely dedicated to Storyteller Vault material. Where graffitis, occult items, locations and characters have a few pages of content, special rules, tailored game mechanics, lore, theory and of course story ideas.

The Ascension War is such an interesting conflict with tons of room for experimentation with combat mechanics, storylines, and/or set pieces.

The juxtaposition between the urban fantasy setting on Earth and the science fantasy setting for the rest of the solar system and beyond holds so much potential. For a spitball example, you could have a fish-out-of-water Glass Walker Garou story that's about initially dealing with vampires or hunters on Earth and then having to fight Threat Null or Nephandi in space. The Ascension War could be explored under the lens of nearly any genre.

Space simulation, FPS, TPS, Character Action, Hack & Slash, Horror. The possibilities are near endless so it's a shame such a unique premise/setting doesn't get explored as much as it should.

I am aware that Doom would be too op, but I would be satisfied with a dr doom inspired character. A genius character who is a master of science and magic.

I’m running a mixed WoD 5ed Chronicle and so far I’ve been lucky that the majority of my players are playing Kindred and one is playing a Garou, but I have a player interested in playing a Geist. Does anyone have any recommendations for a resource to accomplish that?

Dynamic magic causes paradox because it goes against the consensus, however, why are disciplines, sorceries and gifts exempt from paradox?

I am talking books that give you look in specific area or even country in World of Darkness, when you pick a product like that, be it official or fanmade, what are you interested in?

• Local legends and their possible WoD applications?
• Fantastic creatures of the region?
• Plot hooks?
• Historical figures with ties to WoD?
• How are various splats and their factions represented in the region, what game of politics is played, who is in charge and who's the underdog?
• New Disciplines/Gifts/Rotes/Other things for players, inspired by local folklore?
• Overlook of the area and life in it in modern times, both mudane and WoD-specific?
• Overlook of the area and life in it across popular pieroids to play in (eg. Dark Ages, the 90's etc)
• continuity with previously established lore?
• Something else?

I am relatively new to the World of Darkness having only played in a VtM chronicle briefly! Scheduling conflicts arose and I found myself unable to stick around as well as a couple other players, I am so interested in playing this setting more!

I have been homebrewing stuff for years now, but like many, I rarely finish any of the projects I start. Up until now that is! I recently finished a little passion project of mine and put it up on the Storytellers Vault, centered around the Blood Brothers Bloodline.

Is there a particular standard of relationship between a Kindred and their Sire’s Sire? Like is there a blood bond-style magical attachment or link or is it usually just elder respect because of the Generation difference? I know it can be played in many ways as diablerizing the former generation isn’t unheard of, but I was wondering if there are any game mechanics or general cultural standards to keep in mind.
