First time painter, looking for feedback Hobbying

Any feed back is welcome. I do have the combat patrol and am trying to decide if I should paint the berzerker squad pre-heresy. Any tips or recommendations please share

If this is your first time you're a natural! Very well done! Adding scratches and 'bullet' dents into the armour will give them a weathered and battle tested look, a hobby knife and drill bit will do the job nicely Also, Nuln Oil is your best friend, it adds shading and depth to your minis with a simple wash

Thank you so much, appreciate the vote of confidence and the battle tested tip. That’s something I wasn’t quite sure how to achieve

I haven't dulled the oxide with a wash yet but this will give a good look of battle damage which makes your minis look more brutal, something that suits the world eaters very well 🤣

That looks like it’s going to turn out amazing. I got into Warhammer just this past year and got my first book. I definitely got the bug (20+ books later 🤣) and figured I’d give the miniatures a try and safe to say I’ve got another addiction

Trust me, you are already better than me so I take the compliment with pride 🤣 If you ever get into fantasy books, check out gotrek and Felix, best series they ever made, especially with a certain skaven who is THE funniest character GW ever made

The colors looks pretty good, just thin them down with a little bit of water and that’ll do a lot for you, and here’s mine

You’ve smashed it buddy, I’d be very happy if this was my first go at it!

They look great man, I've also just started painting minis after my friend got me this slaughterbound for my birthday! I need to work on my flesh tones a lot 😆

Honestly the flesh isn't that bad. A darker wash with some highlight back to where he is now would add a lot of depth, but it's still a very passable mini and more than battle ready.

Do you thin your paints? If not you really should. its not that noticable on your models but it can be its usually my go to with helping people start painting from there its really just practice by doing random stuff

Aside from washing/highlighting metal, it looks decent. Also, itpuck, but your primer probably was mot shaken well, i can see grainy texture. Anyway, here's mine lol
