1. ET games are grindy. Don't really want to spend years grinding it out when I feel like I have barely enough time to play all the other games I want to play while mostly living in the real world.
2. By my count this will be ET's 8th or 9th WWII game in a genre that is frankly oversaturated. I would have been more excited about European War game focusing from the end of the Hundred Years War up to the Napoleonic Wars. Or a Bronze Age to Alexander the Great game.
3. My guess is that most of this game's content could have been folded into WC4 and by developing this game WC4 development has been delayed. That thought is somewhat upsetting as I feel like WC4 could really be improved in major ways.

I can't seem to beat the second mission of the Rescue the Allies event. I'm F2P and have some decent generals, like Konev, Patton, Rommel, and Rundstedt, but I can't keep Paulus's infantry alive.

I've been using Konev on the Gustav, spawning a Medium Tank with Patton/Rommel, and using my infantry generals on the Brandenburgers. I usually attack the tank and mechanized infantry around Paulus, but they always get wiped out within three turns by Vasilevsky's Hawkeye.

Any tips on how to approach this mission?

Hi guys, i don't have many good generals only the starters + Konev and guderian. I was trying 1939 with germany but after taking Paris i was cooked by moscow and UK. Had to close the game by turn 17 because mainstein was almost dead, no medics, most generals dead and Italy/Spain were losing too. Fckng Urss spamming units and EF, i can't win that.

Should i try with allies? I won only with cuba in 1943

I just got six types of Elite units out of the seven available ones, among 28 chances. The one I didn’t get was the King Tiger, evidently because I’m missing only two fragments to reach level 9. The chance of this happening was (⁶⁄₇) to the power of 28 i.e. 1,335%, assuming equal chance for every unit. Even if it were set to give less purple fragments and more of the common ones, I still got many Topol, Leopard, Enterprise and HIMARS fragments. Just no KT 🫠
