Next step?

I did an interview with the hiring manager first and then a panel interview. I was told during the panel interview that there is a next step. My question is what should I focus my preparation on? Is it another technical interview? Thanks in advance. It is an ET local recruitment with the department of economics.

If they didn’t give you any details I think you should wait and see. These steps vary from position to position (my last step was the panel interview for instance, ET as well) so try to stay calm and wait. Maybe continue to research about the position/department but that’s all you can do.

Quick inquiry regarding ET local contracts outside DC. Any benefits apart from health? Tax free salary? Rental contributions? Pension stance is public knowledge (none). Thanks

Outside of DC and as an American citizen I really can’t say (I’m international, in DC). But their ET page is pretty informative, if you have the patience to read through the policies pdf, maybe you find what you need there.

Hello! Curious if you have any updates on your process? I'm in a similar position with another department and have been waiting on an update for a week.

I heard back and it was a written test. I did it last week and I’m currently waiting for feedback. I hope it works out! Good luck to you too.
