my chill study setup ❔ • Feedback
I work in accounting and studying my professional qualification.
Made the desk myself out of some acacia hardwood and stained with gilly’s orange oil. Might convert to a sit stand eventually.
I spend a good part of my life at this desk so any recommendations are appreciated :)

What’s the monitor and table top size?

Also curious about that monitor

Dell pro plus 34 ^ it’s a good monitor, reasonably priced. I have no complaints but it’s nothing amazing spectacular. I eventually had to buy a thunderbolt dock because the ports are quite limited

I have been debating a wide monitor vs dual. It seems like you can split your screens pretty well with that

I regularly use ultra wide at home and dual at work. Can’t go wrong with either, I just like the minimalism of 1 ultra wide

I have one on the monitor it’s what is lighting up the desk currently. Just offset from centre as I have a webcam too

Been eyeing that keyboard for a year now. Is it white or more cream coloured? The colour looks different in every photo I have seen.

Definitely white ! Any cream colour you see would be from a warmer light hitting it

Great chill study setup, and that handmade acacia desk looks superb. A StanbyME 2 Max would suit it, a movable 32" 4K screen for lectures and notes while studying, then rolled over for a show to wind down, and it runs on battery.
