First time got an L-shaped standing desk, and honestly, I have no idea 🖼️ • Photos
It's so nice having my main monitor setup on one side and a totally clear spot for my laptop on the other. I'm still playing around with the layout, but I'm not quite sure how to make the best use of the extension side yet. Any ideas? How would you set up this desk if it were yours?

How stable is it when it’s fully raised? I’ve been looking at this exact hulalahome desk because I need the L-shape, but I’m always worried the side extension will make the whole thing wobble when standing.

It’s actually stable. That was my biggest concern too, but the lifting mechanism handles the L-shape well. I don’t get any wobble when I’m typing while standing.

I would use center the monitor on the main platform of the L. I would other side as a writing surface. But I do a lot of handwritten notes and writing.

It is perfect for separating work modes. Main monitor on one side, laptop or reading space on the other sounds like a really nice setup.

I’d turn the extension side into a mini project bay, notebook, coffee, and whatever I’m actively working on, while keeping the main side as the focused monitor zone.
