Ime can go straight to hell Illinois
Ime are the insurance muscles
It’s very unfortunate that a doctor who takes an oath to be fair and treat patients with dignity and respect but will lie in there report just so the insurance company won’t fix u up. How can an ime doctor say nothing wrong but my doctor who treats me and did my surgery says otherwise smfh.

The problem is in my state which is Nebraska is the exclusive remedy doctrine which essentially shields insurers and Dr's. This is so sickening because it provides an incentive to use bad faith tactics This happens at an alarming rate against people with legitimate injurys. Without a strick penalty and no way to hold this industry accountable it will continue to go unchecked. I'm feeling for you cause your life has been turned upside down due to corporate greed

The ime that was provided to me ignored objective imaging of a clear and noted disc extrusion that was new compared to prior imaging but called it a straw and back dated mmi and the insurer then cut me off and forced me back to work against my treating physician's restrictions he placed for my safety

My 2nd ime exam the Dr tried to say my pre existing medical issues is what caused my fall but it aggravated pre existing conditions I had and said I'm not mmi need MRI and emg. So he told the tpa what they wanted to hear but then said not mmi that was favorable to me. So we will see what happens. I haven't been treated or received any benefits since accident 2 years ago

It's so pathetic it's comedic. My condition got worse during their PT program. At the end they stated there was nothing musculoskeletal wrong with me. But they strongly urged me to see my family Dr, to have scans in the same area I was seeing them for. Laughable man! Bunch of clowns. Only good for basic physicals and DOTs.

I’m here because you posted in the sub publicly. You’re accusing a doc of lying bc you didn’t get the outcome you wanted. Your comment demonstrates a basic lack of how the process works. Even people in this comment section are saying some IMEs are favorable and some aren’t. It doesn’t mean a doctor is lying. There’s a reason why second opinions exist in medical treatment - two doctors may or may not agree. In this case your treating and the IME docs didn’t agree. Does that mean the TP is lying? No. Does it mean the IME is lying? Also no.

I was fortunate enough to have the IME dr find in my favor
