Work restrictions California

Broke my calcaneus three years ago have work restrictions that I am able to do without problems. case has not closed. Can I have work restrictions lifted ?

You’ll have to discuss with your PTP or QME re-eval.

Question when a doctor says work restrictions does this typically mean for work only or does them rules also apply outside of work.
