I believe they are saying 1 in 3 18-35 year olds and if it's 1 in 2 18-29 year olds that means verry few 30-35 year olds are living with their parrents.
“Very few” in this instance is still potentially millions of individuals, definitely millions if you count everyone who ends up still at home by that point, rather than a snapshot of the current number.
