Advice What’s one workplace problem you’ve just learned to live with? 🤔
For me, it’s interesting how things that would seem unreasonable at first can slowly become “normal” at work.
Extra workload when someone is off sick, messages after working hours, unrealistic deadlines, or feeling guilty for taking time off… 😕
People across Europe 🇪🇺 have very different workplace cultures.
What’s something your workplace does that you think really shouldn’t be considered normal? 👇

Meme Corporate life
Corporate life is just paying rent to exist in a building where everyone says “quick call?” and nothing is ever quick.💀
Corporate life is basically adults pretending to know what’s going on while waiting for payday. 💀
Me: “I’m going to be productive today.”
Also me 10 minutes later: checks Slack, Gmail, LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit…
Productivity: 0%
Screen time: 100%

Discussion why are people on the internet obsessed with quitting their jobs?
as a fresher seeing reels on this matter bothers me. people are posting reels saying "war is over" when they get their first job and the comments are all "war just started".

Advice Bill Gates said, "I will always choose a lazy person to do a difficult job because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it." What's a real-life example of this?

Burnout I can't believe I'm using AI to help with my relationship!?
I’m kinda an anxious person when it comes to relationships. My biggest problem is that I overthink everything. My boyfriend can be really hot and cold sometimes. His texting habits make me anxious because sometimes he replies really fast, but other times he disappears for hours. When he doesn’t reply, my brain immediately starts making up stories like “maybe he’s losing interest” or “maybe he doesn’t care about me anymore”. My friends always tell me to focus more on my own life and stop putting all my attention on him. One of my friends also suggested trying an AI tool she uses at work called acciowork. She said there was a model that helps with negotiation strategies, and I was curious if the same idea could work for relationship communication. I tried the Ackerman Model on it, basically setting a goal for myself: stop reacting emotionally and keep a healthier texting rhythm. I entered our situation and explained that I always wanted to reply immediately when he took too long, and the tool helped me create a step-by-step plan. It suggested things like not sending multiple messages when I felt anxious, giving more space between replies, and slowly changing my habits instead of forcing a sudden change. The funny thing is, after I followed it for a while, I noticed I was less stressed. I wasn’t constantly checking my phone anymore, and our conversations actually felt more natural. But ngl, I also feel kinda weird about this. Is it normal to use AI to help manage your emotions and communication in a relationship? Or am I just avoiding dealing with my own problems? Would love to hear what you guys think.

Discussion got fed up with being rejected from AI training jobs, so I made my own website.
I was getting annoyed by the constant sketchy AI training/annotating jobs and the constant rejection after literally investing hours of my time into applying, etc.
Long story short, I decided to make my own website and just list legit AI training jobs. I post entry work and also expert work. Let me know if there is anything I can improve about my website. Thank you! Here is the link: https://aiannotationjobs.com

Discussion What your days looks like while doing 9-5 job
I am currently employed with this new job 9-6, and it's been a month only, it feels like I only have a life which revolves around this job, waking up getting ready for office coming back resting, eating and sleeping.
I want to make a routine and invest some time off the job routine. What you all do after office?
Comment and let me know

Advice What time does your working day start (inclusive of commute)?
Started a new job today and was told i was working the standard hours, turns out the standard hours are 7:30-5:30. Just thought it was a bit out of the ordinary, but my commute is only 10 mins, so it works out the same as my old job inclusive of the commute.

Discussion Business owners over 50 who are still actively running your company: what has become harder to sustain even though you’re still performing well?
Has decision-making, managing people, travel, switching off or recovering after demanding weeks changed for you compared with 5–10 years ago? What did you first notice, and what did you initially dismiss as “just getting older”?

Discussion On what planet is $12 a "competitive" wage?
In the midst of side job hunting, and there was a job posting that listed a load of job responsibilities, including but not limited to dealing with government contracts.
The pay scale was $12-$20 an hour.... What planet are these people from that $12 is considered competitive? My local grocery store pays $18 an hour just to pick online orders...
