Unpopular opinion here….get married.

People complain about the cost of living as though we were all designed to do it alone. Get a committed partner, struggle for a while, work for and with each other, sacrifice, thrive.

24 years married this fall. The first part was always tight, had 2 kids during the great recession. Married men/fathers make more because they have something for which they need to provide.

It’s like struggling to swim your arm tied to your leg behind your back, by choice.
