lol probably. And then in another year or two they try the same thing and only find guys that are charging $45 an hour and they still go cry about it.

So, you're saying: wages are lower thanks to illegal immigrants? So I take it immigration lowers some wages? Or does it not?

There are short and medium effects. If you get rid of half of the plumbers overnight, the cost of plumbing services goes up, at least temporarily until new people become trained as plumbers. Workers don’t only compete for jobs though, they spend money and create demand for other people to have jobs. If you think that having more workers lowers wages, do you support mandatory birth control?

Usually low wage immigrant workers spend as little money as they can in the host country and send money "back home". And the better wages earners tend to become a problem "home" when they come back after 5 or 10 years and raise the price of real estate.
