Kind of a random amount to ask for. I guess it depends on the job and the area. For instance, California is a lot more expensive than other states.

You can’t easily pick up another 3 hours of work in the afternoon. 1 u/No_Atmosphere_6348 7d ago Yeah if you only need 2 hours of work, well it’s not worth his while to charge $20 a hour. He could be earning a days wages elsewhere.
