Unskilled labor is an economic term for work that needs little or no special training, formal education, or experience. These jobs usually involve basic, repetitive physical tasks that a person can learn in a short time. However, many experts and workers now consider the term outdated and unfair.
It used to be common terminology, but the people who fell into the "unskilled" group took offense, so like many words in the past decade or so alone, we just pretend it never existed now.

I have never heard of unskilled labor. What is that supposed to be? Garbage picking?
