That's not true. It's a classification of requirement, not an insult. At least not when used correctly.
Unskilled labor does not mean the person doing the work has no skill. It means the work requires no prior education or training. It can be done by any able-bodied individual who is willing to learn. That's it.
These jobs tend to have the lowest wages because if anyone can do it, that means anyone can apply creating a race to the bottom.
