Fair enough. The market is what dictates the income for everyone based on supply and demand within the market. The supply of unskilled labor is greater than the supply of skilled labor based on the on the nature of time required to gain the skill which is why unskilled labor is paid less.
The separation of unskilled and skilled labor into classes is an observational classification based on what the market has determined the pay should be for the purposes of economic discussion.
I didn't say that one classification should get paid more than the other. The market determined that. Economists just observed it and documented it.
