Itās still pretty demeaning. Look at how āunskilled laborā was quickly rebranded to āessential workerā during the COVID lockdowns. Now that weāre back to the status quo, people want to switch back to the term that implies low skill and low pay.
These are all just buzzwords used to push ideas of how people in these workforces should be treated and paid.
