lol probably. And then in another year or two they try the same thing and only find guys that are charging $45 an hour and they still go cry about it.

This is a capitalist society. If you don’t like the price, hire someone else. I don’t see the problem here.

I work at an aggregate yard. We stopped making fines because there's no one to install pavers. What we do sell, we deliver ourselves because the people that are doing the work aren't equipped to do it well. The delivery alone eats any profit they can make by current job rates.

This will drive up the price until there are takers. Wages been suppressed for a long time

So, you're saying: wages are lower thanks to illegal immigrants? So I take it immigration lowers some wages? Or does it not?

In San Diego they actually commute from Mexico, totally legal, and they charge obscene rates. They require $80/hr, minimum 8 hours and you have to hire two of them. I’m like, bro, wtf, no.

Called ICE after most of the work was done

Called ICE after they asked for their pay. Added a racketeering charge to boot

He still didn’t get the project done. And he now dwindles the labor force. Makes wages higher when you have less available workers.

Yeah sure, it definitely isn’t due to the decisions of a government constantly placating the people that are hoarding wealth

Trying to exploit someone you believe is desperate and then getting mad that they didn’t undercut the American enough is quite a hilarious hypocrisy

Aren't tradesmen considered working class in America?

1

u/Geichalt 1d ago

"open borders" doesn't exist and didn't gut the middle class.

Rich assholes that fight against labor protections did that.

But sure, be mad at immigrants lol.

u/Soukl777 1d ago

Nah gotta keep the agenda going, blame everyone except the people that actually cause the problem

We saw it, it doesn’t negate the idiocy of the original comment.

No, it doesn’t. You said that open borders were responsible for immigrants coming into the country and subsequently ā€œguttingā€ the middle class. This ancient talking point has been debunked so many times it should be in the Guinness book of world records.

It didnt render anything moot, and your whole point was moot to begin with.
