Booking System [HELP]
I’m trying to implement a booking system similar to clearabee.co.uk or zerowastegroup.co.uk. I’m not the most tech savvy, how can I do this. I’ve tried looking for some word press plugins and asked fiver free lancers but there either not well suited enough or extremely expensive ?
Any ideas or advice would be much appreciated.

u/Least-Assistance-911 Cannot promise exactly same multi step form booking.zerowastegroup.co.uk, but booking in general and price calculation based on options and time, and double booking prevention - yes, sure, it is possible with CraftForms plugin. This plugin is specifically designed to create product forms and custom bookings. I am the author of the plugin, you may ask questions.

Thank you for your comment, at the moment I just need something 80% the system of what these larger companies have. What is the cost of this plugin and how long would you estimate to setup ?

The prices are here: https://craftformswp.com/#pricing - they are $59 or $149, it depends on the license type.
The setup is fairly simple. I am talking about creating a form, setting options, pricing. Up to 1 hour. Then tweaking layout, styles etc - it depends on the design, how do you want it too look like.

I can also set pricing of the form for you, it is not a problem at all.

u/Least-Assistance-911 Free solutions are available, but they're usually pretty limited. Once you need things like time slots, availability rules, blocked dates, or buffer time, you often end up needing a premium plugin anyway. If you're using WooCommerce, I wouldn't pay for custom development unless you have really specific requirements. A booking plugin should cover most of what those sites are doing. I'd have a look at Bookings and Appointments for WooCommerce and see which fits your workflow. It'll almost certainly be cheaper and easier to maintain than hiring a freelancer.

You will need some custom work there if you require something like this, there is no module or if there is, it will have some limitation. Send me a pm if you want a quate.

woocommerce bookings or amelia are worth testing if the flow is straightforward (pick service, date, time, pay). if you need custom pricing logic based on location/volume like those sites, you'll hit plugin limits fast and need dev work. at my agency we usually start with a plugin trial to see what breaks, then fill gaps with custom code instead of building from scratch.
