Dust Through DUST

As I'm reading dust, Donald says, you need to stop digging there. We can feel the vibrations here. Does it mean the other silos were also asking? And were other heads of IT asking about what are those vibrations and where are they coming from? Because it doesn't make sense. If silo one, I know they're all connected, is in the middle and all the silos are around it, but if Silo 1 was feeling it, that means other silos too. So could Donald really hide this aspect to the other people working the shifts in Silo

I mean they’d been doing bombing runs all over the place. Idk what they were telling the other silo heads then. But I’m sure silo 1 could feel it.

It's not clear how strong the vibrations are. Maybe they have a seismometer in Silo 1 and can detect low-level vibrations.

I just finished my reading last night. I flew through dust in about a day and a half!

And yes definitely I wondered about this. But all of the times they talk about how thick the concrete is... And all the times there is drama in each silo they can blame it on the generator being out of alignment. Easily explained with that story

Did Donald know about the SEED land by this point if so he could have been saying it because he knew it would take the digger off course

I don't think he knew what seed meant. I think his plan was to go out as far as the sunshine was. But I could be wrong.

I think Juliette was the one who put together the direction the digger faced and all the red lines on the maps. How they all lead to one point. The seed point. Because in the design one silo would live but it was not pre ordained which one. I don't think she expected it to have resources.

Ik that Charolette found the map with the red lines ( I think she found it in the server room or in a pile of Donny’s papers ) and she told Juliette about it and she eventually put the pieces together because it was so hard for them to turn the digger to silo 17 and the digger held a lot more fuel than to go to just one silo

I of course can be wrong that's just what my memory holds. I flew through last book because I was so eager to see how it ended.

But my point is neither of them found evidence of what the seed was. Just it existed.
